"Extensive repairs were needed to a six-foot high wooden fence following vandalism and trespassing. Rodney evaluated the damages and explained clearly what needed to be done. The sections of fencing that border my neighbor's yard were given priority because of children. Temporary repairs were quickly made to secure the rest of the property until the project could be completed. The finished fence looks great and is structurally more sound than the original work done by a large construction company."

Randy communicated well and was polite but after five days, Randy had only partially completed three doors. His work was subpar and we parted ways. Finish carpentry is not his strong suit."

We are a family owned and woman operated business in the Prescott, AZ area. We have been in business since 2006 and have worked on some of the largest ADOT highway projects in history, including the Hoover Dam-Kingman Highway, and the US 60 project in Tempe AZ, with total footage of over 100,000 LF of handrail throughout the state for ADOT, county, city and private entities. In addition, we have also installed picket fencing in Stone Ridge in Prescott Valley as well as in Prescott Lakes in Prescott. We have focused our efforts in highway work for the past few years but are expanding our customer base to residential projects.

Glass has one of the longest lifespans of any fencing materials, lasting anywhere from 10 to 30 years on average. Just how long your glass fence lasts depends on several factors, including how well you maintain your fence, the climate, and the type of glass you use. 

If you live somewhere with severe weather like hail, tornadoes, or hurricanes, expect your glass to have a shorter lifespan. Pool glass is one of the thickest tempered glass materials and may last longer than other options—especially compared to laminated glass.

You can use pressure-treated wood for a horizontal fence, but you’ll need to purchase a thicker and higher-quality variety to ensure it doesn’t sag or warp after you install it. Use #2 pine grade lumber and boards and thicker dimensional lumber, such as a two-by-six. You’ll also need to use stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized fasteners, as the chemicals in the treated lumber will cause regular galvanized fasteners to rust.
