"We had a 60+ ft, multi trunk ficus that was planted over 30 years ago, it had become a lot of work for us to keep the leave cleaned up at our age. Plus it appeared to have a disease starting. I left a request on Angie’s list around 4am, heard back from Francisco by 4:30a and he could come by to give us a quote around 6:45. He was here right on time, explain their process and gave us a reasonable quote. Also saying he could do it that very day. Within the hour he had his crew here, started the cutting of branches , carefully by hand and ropes bring them down without damage to anything around (which was a concern at first since it was 6-7’ from our house and dining room windows.) It took about 7 hours, to bring it down to the stump, then they came back first thing the next morning and ground down the stump. You can’t even tell there was ever a tree there. Excellent work, very impressive customer service."

"I contacted Jensen Alston, the owner of Rock Solid Landscaping yesterday afternoon about having a front and backyard cleanup done at my home. I work overnights, and have neglected my yard upkeep for months. After all of the rain that we've had this spring, my yards had gotten completely out of control. I sent Jensen the 5 "before" pictures that are displayed in this review. He gave me an estimate and told me that he would be here the following day. His crew arrived promptly at the appointed time. There were three of them who worked steadily and efficiently for just over an hour. As you can see from the "after pictures, they completely transformed my yards. They did in one hour what would have taken me at least a full day! My recovery time after doing so would have been considerably longer! I would definitely say that the value I received comparative to the service that was performed was not only fair, completely satisfying. You can find pruning paints and sealants for trees, but you shouldn’t use them on a topped tree. Coatings like these often inhibit the tree’s healing process. Make your hinge a little longer than usual by cutting it deeper (up to 30% of the diameter) and applying a wedge into the felling cut on the side the tree is leaning. Stand away from the direction the tree leans while making your felling cut.
