The job started with the bathroom - tore out everything and fixed the ancient plumbing and electrical, then he put in new drywall and a new shower. The shower was originally quoted for a low cost tile, but when my fiance and I met Rob at the tile store we liked a higher end tile a lot better. After seeing what we liked, he suggested that maybe we'd like cultured marble more than the tile we had originally thought of. I didn't know it was a possibility, but he was right and we love the finished product. The best part was that he was able to do it for the same cost. The cultured marble itself is much more expensive than the tile, but the backing is cheaper so the cost difference was small and he just absorbed it rather than requoting. The house was a mess when I bought it and I was happy enough with the price/speed of the bathroom that I just had Rob give me a quote on most of the other stuff that needed done rather than trying to do it all myself. I'm glad I did. He managed to get the rest of the work done before my wedding, which of course made things much easier for me and more importantly - made it a nicer place for my wife to move in. The walls look great now instead of the dingy yellow color with patched holes everywhere. Overall he did the job as bid and on budget, but it's the little things that made this great. The yard was overgrown when I bought it and I'd made a giant pile of brush/tree limbs as I'd been starting to clean it up. I had been slowly getting rid of the pile only to discover one day that it was gone. Rob just had his trash guy haul it away with everything else - made my life a little easier. When they were redoing the baseboards they had some extra, so he used it to replace the nasty old casing below the window sills. It wasn't in the quote but it looked great and he didn't charge me extra. My dishwasher wasn't attached to the counter and tipped over when my mom tried to use it - he saw and installed it properly at no extra charge. (easy fix for him, but it made a good impression on my mom) He even found a brick from another project that matched a missing one at my house. There were probably a dozen other little examples that I just can't think of now that just made thing whole experience a good one. We love our bathroom and the rest of the house looks great too. The house is almost 50 years old, but now it looks almost new, and most importantly - it's comfortable to live in now. The only complaint is the same one you always have if you use someone good - they're always busy so they can't always work exactly on your time frame. I know Rob had several projects going on, so he wasn't 100% focused on me, but he did always do well and making sure the project was moving along and let me know what was happening

Miguel and his crew were fantastic all around. They renovated our garage with drywall and insulation, installed a door, and fixed the garage door. It's like new! Miguel was very courteous and professional and kept me very up to date. The guys were very respectful working on our property and cleaned up everything as well. When I got home from vacation, I discovered that my cooler was overflowing and then a portion of the ceiling in a spare bedroom came down. Rob, the company’s owner, and Dexter showed up quickly, discovered the source of the problem, cut out any additional water damaged sheet rock, and removed the carpet. After they were confident that everything was dry, they sprayed to insure I wouldn’t end up with a mold problem. My damaged roof shingles were replaced and they quickly replaced the ceiling’s insulation and sheet rock and painted. This all happened within about a week. The carpet still needs to be replaced but Rob has been very helpful steering me toward the best carpet prices. Both guys worked quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly. Plus they’re really nice guys. I would highly recommend R&JS for any restoration and/or construction. As a matter of fact, I’ve already arranged for them to do additional work at my home

Fantastic, considering all the damage. Talked to the owner Rob who said he would be over ASAP. About an hour later he arrived with water removal equipment. I talked to my insurance carrier and gave them an estimate which they okay-ed. Rob was friendly and very professional. He and his helper worked into the night while also answering all my questions. He did the piping, the walls, the floor. He was one stop shopping. The simple question is, Would I use them again? YES, and I have on other construction projects, with the same results. Let me say, water pouring out of the ceiling is frightening and his is the company to call. I've already recommend his company to family and friends

I called R&J and they responded right away. It was later after I got home from work. They brought in an impressive load of equipment and removed the water from my carpets and then left big fans to dry the area. The next day they were back bright and early to repair the source of the leak. Then they repaired my drywall and baseboard. The were very professional and clean. I have not had any problems since. They did a great job and left my home as if nothing had occured here. I would reccommend them to all my friends
