Chas Roberts is truly an amazing business and my family and I could not be more grateful for their help. Our AC went out during the summer on a Monday and by Wednesday we had a full AC system installed in a matter of hours. The work was professional and John Jr. was amazing to work with in sales. We have a small child, so their urgent help was very appreciated. Highly recommended!

I write this review in sweatpants. If you had come popped by my house last week, that would NOT be the case. Our upstairs had become truly unlivable. Our downstairs was getting there. We knew our AC was dying a slow, painful death that left our house sweltering and our APS bill through the roof. As a first time home owner, finding a trustworthy AC company that wouldn’t take advantage of me was really important!! The first AC company we had out quoted us thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs that wouldn’t even fix the real problem - and if we wanted to replace our AC unit, the price they gave us was out of the question. Thankfully, we found Chas Roberts when comparing prices. Chas Roberts came out the next morning to troubleshoot and provide a solution. They went over their findings and helped us determine the best course of action for our needs. We ended up deciding to replace our AC unit, they gave us a very, very reasonable price and an amazing warranty that is going to make the next 10 years a total breeze, literally! LOL. They replaced our unit the very next day, during the hottest streak of 110+ degree days ever recorded in the HISTORY of Phoenix!! It is safe to say I will exclusively be using Chas Roberts for any homeowner issues I face moving forward!

Chas Roberts was so great they really provided exceptional service and were very knowledgeable. I utilized their techs to complete three bathroom remodels and created a laundry room. They also did all the changes to the duct work for my HVAC equipment. Their technicians provided thorough explanations and multiple potential solutions and had great attention to detail - every aspect of their work was outstanding. Buyer beware; I would stay far away from this company. They will sell you a "5-year extended warranty," only to tell you later that the warranty only applies from the date you closed escrow. We purchased the "5-year extended warranty" two years after we bought our house based on the recommendation of the technician who came out to our house for an unrelated repair. At 3 years and five months after we purchased the warranty, we were told the "5-year extended warranty" had expired and they would not honor it. This company's business practices are so unscrupulous that I would advise anyone looking to use them to go elsewhere.

Badly. They don't honor their commitments, they don't provide timely service, they are very unresponsive, and you can't trust what the employees tell you. June 11, 2021, my mini-split unit stopped working. They couldn't send someone out until the end of July. The technician said the compressor was bad, and he'd get back to me with a price. I waited a week and 1/2, and did my own search for the compressor, and finally called them since they didn't get back with me. They finally gave me a price for the part over 3 times what I could get it from from a number of reputable firms. I told him that's what I was going to do and he told me that was a good price and let them know when I got it. It took another week and 1/2 to get it here (now mid August), and I called to schedule. The earliest they had was Sept 27. There were several emails & text to confirm the appointment. On the day of the appointment, someone called and said they couldn't install the unit because they didn't buy it. I talked to several people, including a technician who was fine doing it, except he didn't know what to charge. I finally spoke with Ozzie Brixa, the supervisor who canceled the appointment, and said the original technician was no longer with them and the one that scheduled the appointment was new. He wouldn't honor the commitment those employees had made. The bottom line is that they strung me along through the heat of the Mesa AZ summer, I had to get the compressor myself, and after all this time I need to find someone else to install it.

They denied it was their fault then started accusing me and “any others” who may have come to my home for pulling the pipe that is supposed to be connected to the unit out or cutting it. Did not take responsibility for their own work.

Kenneth Turney performed excellent customer service and was very professional. I liked that he was a Christian. He completed this quickly considering the work that needed to be done. He was patient, explained what he was doing, methodical and neat. He also worked around obstacles, (re positioned the water treatment system I had). His price was much lower than other quotes from the other competitors.

From the time the estimator came out until the installers left was only 48 hours.

All work was performed without any problems.

No operational issues since installation (5/2/17). But, customer service post installation and QC inspection (3 weeks after installation) was unsatisfactory, in particular - HVAC literature/documents was not delivered after several follow or still outstanding up to present (8/17/17).

I know their reputation. I have lived here for 40 years so they have a reputation. They are everything you expect out of a company.

Had Chaz Roberts do a standard service and everything was working when they arrived. After the service, there was no a/c in my office. Service tech came out and said the damper motor was bad and that it was a coincidence that it was right after the service. Unit is 2 years old I have already replaced the air handler motor, re-circulator fan, all 3 thermostats and a capacitor which in total has cost me almost $2000. Tech suggested I get a 10 year warranty that I was never told about to begin with. When I called about it was told I could not even get the warranty since I had not registered my unit, which I had. They said I had to take it up with Trane even though Chaz Roberts had installed the system in my new home. I asked to have a manager call me to discuss which they have not.

Air handler does not fit in space provided because of poor service from salesman when fist arrived. They rectified the problem in a short time. I would recommend them to others. The techs are very good at explaining what is being done to system.

I like Chas. Everything is too expensive. They can lower the price. I like their punctuality.
