"I wanted a sunroom added to my house so I started getting estimates. I got a referral from a friend to use JBR custom builders. I called and met Jeff the owner and scheduled an estimate. He was on time, very knowledgeable and had great communication skills. After I got two other estimates I went with JBR because from our interactions I felt he was best suited to bring my vision to fruition. So we set a start date, I gave him a deposit and he showed up with his crew exactly when he said he was going to. Jeff helped me all the way from conception to completion on this project and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of work that was done. I will definitely be using him for future projects."

"The work was performed well by Eric. My sole issue was the inclusion of a same-day charge of $150 for the work performed. I may have missed hearing that when the office said they have someone who could come to the house in late afternoon. I paid the invoice withe the same-day charge."

"I have no idea how long this roof is going to last......I was told by TWO owners that I would have a 10 year warranty. When I made my last payment, they told me they would not give me a receipt at the time, (never had that happen before) it would be mailed to me along with the warranty. My bad for believing what they told me.......it is a 5 YEAR warranty.....by the 10th year I am paying 90% of the repairs. I could have had a 25 year warranty with shingles. Also I chose this way-more-expensive roofing rather than shingles because I didn't want the mess of taking shingles off (bad experience in the past). Well, little did I know they use the cheapest Styrofoam on the planet.....I had pieces of white styrofoam all over my gravel yard, and I am still finding it. They did come out twice to clean up, but if I wanted a mess I would have gone with shingles at half the cost. They also knew this, and never mentioned this would happen. Also where it rolls over the roof and is attached looks crappy in my opinion. They did try to make it look better but I will have to paint it. Shingles....no. However, on the good side, it does seem to keep my house cooler, as white is the only color they have and it reflects the sun. BUT if the roof only lasts 5 years, well any savings from cooling will not make a difference. I gave them 2 stars because I believe they lied to me about the warranty. So if you do business with them, ASK BEFORE YOU BUY! I guess I just trust people too much."

"Very fast installers. Only took them about 3 1/2 weeks to complete job. Company suggested design that would look best. HOA approved job."

"I used the Awning Doctors to replace the fabric on my 2 awnings. Here are my thoughts: Pros: 1) The quality of the fabric is excellent and matches my house perfectly. 2) The price was well within my budget (as a matter of fact, it was below what I expected). 3) The installers were efficient, friendly and did an excellent job. Cons: 1) After I signed the agreement, the owner said they'd install the new fabric within 10-12 weeks. Instead it took 6 months. There were no phone calls or updates. I had to call every 3-4 weeks just to find out what was going on. 2) After installing the awning fabric, I am now having an issue with one of them (it keeps going down on its own). I called the owner and he told me it's not his problem and I need to maybe call an electrician to check it (it was not doing this before the awning replacement). I felt he just blew me off since the job had been "completed". As I said, the installation work was excellent, but communication and follow-up are almost non-existent."

"The men who showed up stated they could not fix the spring due to the bottom of the door being slightly bent. They said it was a safety issue and even if a waiver of liability was signed, their company would not allow them to repair it. The bottom panel needed to be replaced at the least, or else they could install a new door. We got an estimate from them and then contacted other companies who came out and were surprised we were told we needed a new door. Our spring was fixed and the bottom support was fixed at a reasonable cost with no hassle. I am highly disappointed that they came, collected their show up fee, and did nothing to help us. I would never hire them again."
