"This the second time I have called Mr. Rooter and once again I am delighted with their services. I requested that Clinton come and he repaired or replaced all of my outdoor hose bibs and refitted the drip system fittings. He made several trips to hardware stores for specific pipe fitting and was quick to resolve any issues I brought up concerning ease of use or accommodation to existing requirements. He also checked all the drains and poured in a drain cleaner treatment. We received a discount coupon after our first visit which was applied to the new total. I will always call Mr. Rooter for pluming issues and also ask them so send Clinton, and will highly recommend their service to others."
"I got all the new sink and RO water system installed . Everything looks great and was a very professional job. The P-trap and other pipes were all redone in a more condense area leaving more room for kitchen storage I could not be happier with the installation."
"Our gas line to our outdoor firepit failed from the original landscapers installing the incorrect gas line material. (Iron Pipe). Brandon and his company Professional Pavers took apart our firepit and trenched so we could install the correct material gas line. His crew was able to put our firepit back together just like it had never been torn apart. They do great work ! Brandon is an honest and reliable company owner. I would use his company again and refer Professional Pavers and Landscaping to anyone who needs quality work ! Thank you Brandon !"
"Brad and his people did a nice job on what turned out to be a bigger, more time consuming project than he estimated. The job was to clean up the woodlands on a 1 acre lot (tree and shrub removal and general trimming). The overall results met expectations, however I could not rate them higher due to the big miss that was made in estimating the job. The owner has a great deal of experience in the business so I did not expect him to underestimate the time required to do the job by 40%. We paid a per diem, so the cost was 40% more than estimated. When someone with his experience tells me with "high confidence" that a job can get done in 3 days I do not expect it to turn into 5 days. In retrospect I would get a firm quote from them. "
"Fantastic job. Work was timely and professionally performed at fair price. The owner gave me referances and prior job addresses to go look at his work. He also gave me a referral to a stone company to look at the color and style of the pavers. I had an issue with the layout of a sidewalk and the owner offered to tear it out and redo it without any hassle. I had an issue with the workers wanting to use my bathroom and the owner dealt with it immediately and was very apologetic. "
"recently had City Plumbing and Rooter AZ replace my traditional tank water heater with a tankless system, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The installation was done completely up to code, which gave me a lot of confidence in the quality and safety of the work. The master plumber was outstanding?extremely professional, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. He took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions clearly, and made sure everything was done right the first time. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. The upgrade to a tankless water heater has been a great decision, and I?m glad I chose a company that delivered such high-quality service. I highly recommend City Plumbing and Rooter AZ to anyone looking for reliable, professional plumbing work."
"The Plumber (Pedro) showed up early for the appointment which was **refreshing**, as normally service techs are late or do not show at all. Pedro acted professionally and the job performed was also very professional. Con: Cost was a bit high (service call/trip fee) We would certainly recommend Goettl."
"Alex and Donavan were very thorough. Discovered more than what we called them for. We originally wanted information on sealing cracks to eliminate cricket infestation coming through cracks in stem wall. We were not interested in repairing foundation rebar which is typical in slab homes in AZ. They were knowledgeable and honest in their evaluation of our home."
"We purchased a townhome in Flagstaff several months ago. The unit is situated on a small hill with a pine forest to the rear. There was a small patio in the rear yard. However, the soil was eroding down the hill into the valley below and the patio was cracking due to the unstable soil. I contacted Angelsun Landscaping and Michael inspected the problem and came up with a solution to stop the erosion and stabilize the rear yard with a retaining wall and extending our brick paver patio. JP, Michael's father suggested additional items and solutions. The work took just a little over a week. We were not at the property while the work was taking place. When we arrived to view the work...we were totally blown away by the improvements. They were better than expected. The new patio was magnificent!! In addition, an aluminum wrought iron style fence was added plus a planting area. All the work exceeded our expectations. JP and Michael are the consummate professionals and we would not hesitate to have them do any landscaping work we may have in the future."
You can try several easy methods to unclog a drain, one of the easiest and most effective of which is to use a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. This will help dislodge and dissolve the clog to move it down the drain pipes. Pour 1/2 cup baking soda into the drain, followed by 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Dump several cups of boiling water (or hot water if you have PVC pipes) into the drain and let sit for up to one hour. Run hot water to clear the drain.
While technically possible, it is unlikely that a clogged toilet will fix itself. Clogs caused by water-soluble materials like toilet paper or human waste may eventually break down in the water, allowing flow to resume. However, this can take time, and any clogs from solid objects require manual removal. In most scenarios, especially if you don't have another bathroom, it is best to fix the clog yourself or call a plumber.
Boiling water helps unclog a drain, but usually only with a harder abrasive such as baking soda or vinegar. On its own, it isn’t the most effective tool. In addition, you shouldn’t use boiling water if you have PVC pipes, as it can soften or melt them. Use a plunger or enlist the help of a pro if you have plastic pipes.
The P-trap (or S-trap in older homes) under your shower is designed to prevent sewer gas from coming back up, so you shouldn’t normally experience foul odors coming from your shower drain. If you do, the vent stack that introduces air into your plumbing system may be clogged, or you may have a more severe sewer main blockage. In either case, hire a plumber to fix the issue for you.
If you drop jewelry down your sink, it can cause a clog, especially if it accumulates other debris on its way down. However, that is the least of your worries if you drop your favorite jewelry down your drain. If your gold band goes tumbling down the sink drain, don’t panic—refrain from running more water down the sink, and follow the steps above.
