"This is a wonderful company that I highly recommend. Catching skunks is a difficult job, which they do with compassion. Everyone I spoke with took the time to explain the process to me. I'm very happy with the results."

"The initial phone call to inquire about an estimate, we had no problems at all, in fact they were there next day to assess and quote the work necessary to resolve our pigeon problems. Because we are Angie's List members we received priority status which was a very nice surprise
The installers were running late on their appointment time window. We were called with updates so we were not left in the dark like so many companies will do.
All work was completed in a timely manner, which included pressure washing the affected areas (including the driveway!) and the birds were no longer a problem.
A week ago I noticed a section of the wired prongs laying on the ground below one of the areas that was treated. Within 24hrs The Pigeon Guy's installers were at the house to replace and re-check all treated areas.
AWESOME to do business with - we VERY highly recommend this prompt, professional & courteous company.

"Great service and fast response to an issue we were having. Very Happy with service and have setup monthly pest control service. Smaller company but customer service and communication is better than what you get. Very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend! A+++"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

The cost to hire an exterminator or pest control service is $175 on average, with typical costs ranging from $100 to $500. However, you could spend more depending on several factors, including the type of pest, the size and severity of the infestation, and the number of visits required.

Service costs also vary by frequency:

• One-time service: $300–$550

• Initial visit with ongoing service: $150–$300

• Monthly visits: $40–$70

• Quarterly visits: $100–$300

• Annual visits: $300–$550

The type of pest significantly impacts the price. For example, exterminating spiders typically costs between $100 and $300, while a termite problem can range from $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the extent of the damage. Routine pest control services can help prevent future infestations and costly damage to your home.

Metal coil-shaped retriever tools (around $50) help remove empty nests and debris from chimneys. Unless you are sure the nest is vacant, we recommend calling in a pro to handle bird’s nest removal from chimneys, vents, roofs, and other hard-to-reach places.

A treatment from a pest control service can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on the type of treatment, what pest it’s treating, and what environment you live in. This is why pest control service companies often offer packages where they come out multiple times a year to apply treatment to the outside or inside of your home.

Birds eat grass seed for one simple reason—it’s delicious! The seeds are rich in nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Seeds are also high in energy, so humans eat trail mix loaded with seeds and nuts for long-distance activities. Grass seed, when unprotected, is also exceptionally easy to access.

Finding a dead bat in your home can be frightening, even during spooky season. The United States Department of Interior states that if you find a dead bat, take these steps:

  • Contact your state wildlife agency to report the finding

  • Photograph the bat safely to help the wildlife agency determine the species

  • Use disposable gloves to place the bat into a plastic bag, making sure to spray with disinfectant and close the bag securely

  • Thoroughly clean your hands and any clothing that came into contact with the bat

If you see one dead bat, you might have a large bat infestation that needs to be treated immediately. Call a local pest control company to properly inspect your home for other bats.
