"The come out every two months. They always treat the outside, but will spray inside if we want them to. They spray and knock down spider webs. They do a good job. We had scorpions in our house and have had good luck ever since they came out. We have had good luck with Green Mango. Their price is good."
"I've been using Cummings for over 30 years (before 1995) for monthly pest control maintenance (eg, scorpion control, etc) as well as annual termite maintenance/control. Have always done a great job for me and the monthly service really keeps scorpions at bay. Jeff, my monthly technician for many years now, is the best!"
"They came by and did a free inspection, then scheduled the work promptly and completed the job right away. No more birds, birds**t, or noise. Thanks!! I live in a condo association so the birds do move around from nook to cranny periodically. But this particular pair had been roosting in or on the roof for over a year, and I finally got tired of asking the HOA to fix the problem. MetroTech did a great job and I would hire them again."
"We have not started the service yet. But, the free termite inspection was thorough and the technician gave us excellent advice regarding termite control. We agreed to begin a general pest control service next month."
"These guys are great! For the most part the regular service covers everything we need. I like that they only come every other month. Their communication is outstanding. We did have a bit of a bug problem a few years back due to the excessive rains and flooding which caused bugs to move into our house. I took pictures of the lingering pests and they were able to take care of the problem immediately. We also had a single scorpion come into our house and they had a technician out the very same day to spray the inside of our home. They are a great company to work with. We have been with them for years and see no reason to change providers."
"Pigeon Pros provided me a detailed estimate of exactly what needed to be done to resolve the pigeon problem on our roof. Pigeon Pros were professional and on time. They installed spikes and mesh wire on our roof. I’m writing this review 4 months later and I’m happy to say the pigeons are not a problem anymore!"
"These guys are friendly and reliable. They appointment is set for the same time every month, and they give a reminder call the night before. I love the fact that they use environmentally friendly products, and they will work with you to customize the treatments depending on your needs. Rather than spraying the whole yard with a hose full of poison, they target the necessary areas. I have used this service for 3 years and have been very satisfied with the pest control."
"No one wants to hear the words, we have termites. It was a bad feeling and I called a lot of pro’s including my current pest control. After much thought and comparisons we went Environmental Pest & Termite control because they were very responsibly priced. They came on time and cleaned up well. More importantly they saved us money after coming and inspecting the house, it was determined that the infestation was minimal and they did had not done damage. It also meant that we didn’t need the most expensive treatment. We were relieved and grateful. They walked around the house explaining the process and put our ground back together nicely. We will be switching to use them as our current pest control."
Fake owls are a common goose deterrent decoy and one of the most humane ways to scare away geese. Unfortunately, some geese are wise to fake predators. Decoys can be more effective if you move them around frequently or purchase ones with motion features. Decoys that move in the wind are also more effective than stationary decoys.
DIY treatments may help minor issues, but professionals provide long-term solutions and prevent recurrence.
While not common, bird’s nests can cause problems to your property in some cases.
Block vents for your dryer, stove, and fans, creating a fire hazard
Clog gutters and drains, leading to roof and siding damage
Damage solar panels
Wiring issues if the nest is on or near a light fixture
Keeping birds away from a porch can involve a combination of strategies. Start with cleaning your porch. Remove food, debris, and plants that may be attracting feathered friends. Afterward, install physical deterrents like netting or spikes. Next, top off your porch with a decoy or two—and owl or hawk works. When wondering how to keep birds off the porch, it is always best to use humane efforts that won't harm winged creatures or the environment.
Removal typically takes 1-3 days. Sealing entry points and cleanup may require additional time.
