DaBella is the leading home improvement company in the United States. With more than 23 offices throughout the United States, we're striving to transform home improvement services. We work with you to create value in your home by providing outstanding service and premium products for roofing, siding, windows, and bath replacement systems. Since 2011, DaBella has grown to become one of the largest home improvement services companies in the United States. "Our core purpose is to care for families and their homes. We strive to provide the best customer experience and the best environment for our growing workforce," said CEO, Donnie McMillan, Jr. "The explosive growth we have achieved in such a short time period is an incredible story in and of itself. It was only possible because we created a culture committed to helping people realize their vision. Not only the career goals of our own people at DaBella, but also for those homeowners who we serve every day." In our industry, it's common for people to talk about the dream of one day owning their own business, often driven by the desire to make a lot of money. The start to our story, however, is different. It entails a motivated, young family who had worked in the home improvement industry but envisioned a different kind of home services company. The goal was not just to build a business, but to create an extended family, where employees, suppliers and most importantly, customers, were part of the family. Not coincidently, the company was founded at the same time as the family was blessed with twins. In fact, the name of the company comes from a combination of their names -- David and Isabella. But DaBella is so much more than a company's name. From the beginning it has been a second family name for employees. It's the nameplate of a company who works in the name of families.

"I feel extremely generous giving this company one star! Do NOT contact this company! I contacted this company (through Angi) regarding a leak in my roof Two very nice young men came out in a timely manner. HOWEVER! They spent over two hours, NOT addressing the leaky roof, but high-pressuring me to install a completely new roof — at the cost of OVER 38,000 dollars!!!! My current roof still has 10 years of shingle life left. Brand new roofs in our area have an average cost of about $12,000! They would not even address the leak in the roof. My goodness, how they are still in business, I have NO idea!"

Restorative Repair and Refinish Specialist, Custom Color Matching, Original Finishes Restored

"Mary Ellen is in the type of service that you hope you will NEVER need: a repair job. But should you ever find yourself in the position of needing a surface repaired, thank goodness she is in business. Her business flyer's tagline says, "Miracles and Magic", which is not an exaggeration! When a contractor accidentally put a hole in our fiberglass bathtub, we thought we'd have to replace it, or live with an unsightly patch job that would hopefully be mostly waterproof. We were AMAZED with Mary Ellen's work! When she was done, you would never know that there was a hole there. Not only is it waterproof, and structurally sound, but it is completely unnoticeable! Mary Ellen is not just extremely skilled and knowledgeable, but she is professional and considerate. Despite being booked out for weeks, she took time out of her personal schedule to squeeze us in so we wouldn't be without a place to shower. And while she was at our home, she was so kind as to help us remove some scratches on our laminate flooring. We can't say enough about her craftsmanship and consideration for others, and we would be happy to have her work on any surface in our home in the future."

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use Epsom salt in a refinished bathtub. The salt will not harm the new glaze finish chemically, although it may rough up the surface finish a bit. Consult a professional bathtub refinisher prior to using Epsom salt on your bathtub to ensure it won’t damage its finish.

When buying caulk, look for ones labeled for tub and tile. These have either acrylic latex or silicone compounds. This allows the caulk to stick to smooth surfaces and prevent mildew from forming.

Bathtub refinishing costs an average of $460 and includes removing the finish, sanding or acid etching the surface, priming it, and applying an epoxy coating. After the coating cures, the bathtub should look as good as new, and the finish should last between seven and 10 years. Because bathtub refinishing requires hazardous chemicals, you should call a bathtub refinisher to do the job.

Surprisingly, cleaning an air bath is almost as easy as relaxing in one. Most air baths have a self-cleaning or drying cycle to remove moisture from the inner tubing. This prevents mold and keeps the tub ready for your next soaking session. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and a soft cloth to wipe the surfaces and periodically clean the air jets as the manufacturer recommends.

Yes. Common materials for Roman tubs are acrylic, fiberglass, cast iron, and stone resin. The choice you make can depend on various factors, including weight, cost, durability, style, heat retention, and aesthetics. Ultimately, it really depends on your space to determine the best option.
