"I am not someone who often leaves reviews but I must sing these guys praise. They were extremely helpful through the whole process and had an abundance of knowledge when it came to materials and design. Not to mention, they were significantly more affordable than the competition. Our backyard came out better than we could have possibly imagined! If you need any landscaping work done at your home we could not give a higher recommendation for this crew."

"Very reasonable excellent work. UPDATE 07/28/2021: Be sure that everything is okay before you pay. Six months later I have Dead plants, Dying trees, and lighting that has shorted out! The owner Julian keeps promising to come over and fix it but never shows up! UPDATE 08/03/2021: Julian did come back and fixed everything. Will use again."

"

I was experiencing dimming and fluctuating lights for several days before the electric quit working altogether. I was worried about a possible fire and not having the fridge working. Lennie was the only electrician (out of 4 called) who said he would come out when he finished a current job he was in the middle of. I was grateful for that. He came out to the residence and worked tirelessly to troubleshoot the problem. He was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He explained what the problem was and came back promptly the next day to start the major work.

I have complete confidence in his expert abilities as an electrician and fair price for the big job that needed to be done. I feel safer knowing that the electrical problem is taken care of.

Lennie is knowledgeable, expert in his field, professional and efficient with fair pricing for the total completed job. I would use him again and highly recommend Lennie's electrical to others.

Lighting questions, answered by experts

There are a number of reasons that landscape lights burn out, including an incorrectly installed transformer, inconsistent voltage, and burned-out or faulty bulbs. Troubleshoot landscape lighting problems by first determining whether it’s a system-wide problem or an issue with just one light, which will help you get to the bottom of your outdoor lighting woes.

Although security lighting may not deter a determined burglar, its presence will make your property that much less enticing to would-be trespassers. When paired with other types of home security systems like alarms and surveillance cameras, strong lights will better help you and the authorities identify thieves in the instance they attempt to break in or succeed at doing so.

Between seasons, inspect cords for damage, replace burnt-out bulbs, and clean lighting fixtures to prevent dirt buildup. Proper storage in cool, dry conditions will extend the lights' lifespan and minimize repairs or replacements when redeployed.

Yes, outdoor lights and receptacles should be on a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) for safety. The outdoors is considered a wet location where GFCI protection is generally required. A GFCI enhances safety by automatically tripping and shutting off the circuit if it detects an imbalance, which protects against electrocution and reduces the risk of an electrical fire. While it is the safest approach for all outdoor electrical components, specific requirements can vary depending on the type of light (e.g., pool lights), its location, and local electrical codes. For guidance tailored to your specific situation, it's best to consult a professional electrician.

A motion detector light may need to be reset due to a number of technical issues. These can include faulty or misadjusted sensors and burned-out bulbs. You may also need to reset a motion sensor after an electrical surge or a power outage, as these can change a light’s settings and cause it to function differently.
