"Jayrod and Dominic were professional and great efficient workers. They introduced themselves and made sure they understood our needs, going over all the pieces that needed to be moved room by room and carefully completed the task. I am using them again to move more furniture this week."

"I absolutely love this company. Moving can be very stressful however Camelback Moving always put me at ease. I used them for a 2 part business move and each time I did the scheduling, Mary was always very responsive and eager to help. The 2nd part was the biggest move with two stops and even though there were some issues with one of the stops, the 4 guys (Pedro (Peter), Clyde, Ruben & Ahli) never complained and helped me to figure things out. With both moves I was always amazed at how quickly the process was completed and its because they hire experienced and organized employees! I will always recommend this company to anyone and everyone for any moving needs!"

"The move was great from start to finish. Three employees arrived before the scheduled time; I reviewed with them what I would like moved. They were particularly careful with two hutches I was concerned about - wrapped them up well. They also offered to move some other items I had not identified which was great. They unloaded items in the rooms that I indicated. I would definitely recommend Sterling Interstate. This was a local move, and was completed in four hours."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Moving in Goodyear often means evaluating your HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure they’re ready for new occupants or upgrades. If you have solar panels or smart home technology, check compatibility with your new property or plan for professional transfer. Homes with desert landscaping may require irrigation adjustments, and older systems might need updating to meet current efficiency standards.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Goodyear often weigh the convenience of moving during cooler months against limited availability from local moving companies. Choosing between established Goodyear neighborhoods and new builds affects access to parks, schools, and commute times. HOA regulations may limit exterior changes, impacting your landscaping or home upgrades. Opting for desert landscaping can reduce water use but may require adjusting your expectations for traditional lawns or shade trees.

Helpful?

Coordinating your move with upgrades like HVAC improvements, fresh paint, or installing desert landscaping can minimize disruption and streamline your project. Scheduling these tasks together allows you to work efficiently with local contractors and moving companies, especially during Goodyear’s cooler months. Bundling projects such as flooring, lighting, or smart home installations often leads to a smoother move-in process and long-term benefits.

Helpful?

If you’re experiencing changes in household size, need better access to Goodyear amenities, or want to move closer to top-rated schools, it may be time to plan your move. Consider scheduling with local moving companies during the fall or winter for easier booking and safer conditions. Monitoring housing market activity and aligning with the school calendar can help ensure a smoother transition.

Helpful?

The condition of your Goodyear property can impact moving logistics and future upgrades. Older homes may require updates for energy efficiency, especially for cooling in the desert climate. Established landscaping, pools, or irrigation systems may need inspection before listing your home. If you’re in a neighborhood with an HOA, review any restrictions that could affect exterior changes or renovations during your move.
