"Ollie from Elite Exterior Solutions came to my home the very next day. He was polite professional and got out a severely heavy and large grease strain from a vehicle that was in front of our home . The grease spill was a huge eye sore and he was able to remove it with his products and powerwasher. He was very affordable and we are very happy with the outcome. We definitely recommend him to anyone that needs to have anything powerwashed or windows cleaned. We will be recommending him to all our friends and family."

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use glass cleaner on outside windows, but only after you’ve rinsed away as much debris as possible. Using glass cleaner on top of a layer of dirt will only make it harder to clean.

You should avoid using abrasive materials and harsh chemicals when cleaning windows. Abrasive tools like scrubbing pads, rough cloths, or steel wool can permanently scratch and damage the glass. Harsh chemical cleaners containing alcohol or ammonia can damage window treatments, frame materials, and special features like tinting. It is also best to use distilled or filtered water instead of hard water, which can leave spots or streaks. For best results, use a clean microfiber cloth to wash the glass and old black and white newspapers to dry it without leaving streaks.

Access to professional tools ensures streak-free finishes and safety in hard-to-reach areas.

Hard water stains can permanently damage your glass if left untreated. The minerals dissolved in the water can etch the glass, causing long-term damage and affecting the overall integrity of the surface. Luckily, it is pretty simple to remove hard water stains by using vinegar, baking soda, or commercial cleaners.

Regular cleaning with non-abrasive cleaners helps prevent buildup and maintains clarity.
