"For those shopping for a new AC unit  in the Yuma, Arizona area, I would like to share our experience with you. We bought an older home 10 years ago, and it still had the original system somwwhat operational. We had to get it serviced extensively each year; having to add refrigerant  and several other repairs to keep it going until we could no longer make it do. With the summers getting hotter each year we had to "bite the bullet" and start shopping for a new system.
    We called multiple companies for estimates and Comstock Air was the first to respond. Fernando showed up on time (that was the first surprise) and was very knowledgeable and informative about all the products they sell. He then took all the measurements required and assured us he would get back to us with a proposal the first of the week. He came back with all the information needed and had the financing figured to the penny. after looking at his proposal we decided to go with Comstock even though we other estimates pending. We called them and told them not to go any further; we had hired a company.
    Comstock started installation of our new Tran 15.50 SEER the next day. They also offered 24 months 0% financing which made it much easier on our budget!
    The team showed up the next morning and quickly and efficiently took the old sytem out and rebuilt the closet that it was in and installed the new one; insulating everything throroughly. They then cleaned and sealed all vents and cleaned the entire work area so one would have never known there had been any work done. The same was done to the heat pump outside. It was replaced with a very quiet unit...since it is right outside a bedroom window, we were very impressed! Everything was then loaded up for disposal. The installers then instructed us on the use of the unit and thermostat, and the care of the unit. Fernando made sure everything was taken care of to our satisfaction. and the owner of Comstock air, Inc, came out to check on the progress as well. 
    We could not be more pleased with the product we purchased but particularly with the service provided by Fernando and his team!

"Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

"While buying a home in Sun City West our inspection reported that attic had blown insulation blocking all the soffit vents. East Valleys crew went to the home and spent hours checking the issue in the attic, in the August heat no less, and let us know that the inspector was mistaken and that the vents were free and clear. They even checked other houses in the vicinity to investigate further. Two other companies who refused to enter the attic ("I know what attics look like") proposed a small number of external OHagin vents instead which wouldn't have solved the issue if it existed.
