"Working with Cactus Nectar was a great experience from beginning to end. We started with another contractor who seemed uninterested in taking on our project and his quote reflected his attitude. In contrast, Cactus Nectar (Scott, owner & Ban, manager) visited our home to discuss our plans in detail. They came back with a quote that was very close to what we thought it should cost. The 7-page quote was thorough, showing all the line items they would provide and the costs for each job. It included timing for the work and payment schedule for each phase. They were professional and enthusiastic about working with us. There is so much I could say that was positive about our experience. The job manager (Lupe) was extremely flexible and responsive to any issues that arose and was always available to take calls. We did have some change orders which he accommodated, worked into the schedule and charged fair prices for. The project managers are backed up by a great team - they are constantly in morning meetings reviewing the various jobs and dealing with any issues. Additionally, Rebeca, who leads the office and is a talented designer, visited the site a couple of times to assist with important decisions. All the subcontractors we had on the job were top notch. This included demo, framing, tile removal and flooring replacement, drywall, plaster, painting, electrician, laborer, HVAC work and the finish carpenter doing all baseboards, casing and installing new doors throughout. One of the most notable aspects of our experience was the adherence to both timeline and budget. We were given a three-month schedule and a comprehensive budget. The job was completed in three months, and aside from change orders, the final costs matched the initial budget."

He was on time, very knowledgeable and had great communication skills. So we set a start date, I gave him a deposit and he showed up with his crew exactly when he said he was going to.
