"I hired Bobby and his team to do an addition to my house. They added on 750 ft.² the back of my house, adding a room and opening up my kitchen on top of that they built it, beautiful porch along the backside of the house. They are very professional and Work well with their clients to achieve the vision that we went in front of them. Bobby came up with ideas to help move the project along and make it everything you can hope for and more. I have recommended them to numerous family members and friends and would have them do more work for me in the future."

Customers say: Quality work

"Exceptional Home Building Experience with Home Builders! We recently worked with Franco and his team at Home Builders, and it was truly a remarkable experience. Because our first experience working with them building our free standing garage on our property went so smoothly, weâ ve had them also help with concrete along our driveway and many additional construction needs. Their professionalism, communication and dedication sets them apart and their punctuality ensured a smooth process. They arrived on time, always kept a clean and organized job site and their meticulous attention to detail exceeded our expectations. Franco and his teams commitment to follow through on every aspect of our project was impressive. We have had many construction teams that weâ ve contracted over the past few years with a full inside and outside remodel at our house and weâ ve never worked with a better team! We highly recommend Home Builders for anyone seeking a reliable, detail-oriented company for their construction needs."

Customers say: Terrific value

"Ninja Builders enclosed our back patio and did just what we asked of them. My husband was a builder for 40+ years prior to retirement and we understood exactly each step that Ninja Builders did in enclosing our patio. They used the best materials and fantastic labor/subcontractors. We have been extremely pleased with the job they did and also some of the follow up that needed to be addressed. A very professional contractor in all ways."

Barndominium Builders questions, answered by experts

Any type of construction that damages a tree’s roots via soil compaction can be dangerous, and is one of the primary causes of mature tree death in residential areas. Simply putting lots of weight on the ground around the tree, like construction supplies, trailers, and equipment, can kill roots near the surface. Of course, installing new foundations, patios, or utility lines can cut through nearby tree roots. Accidentally striking a tree with equipment or supplies is rarely a problem, but can cause damage of its own, too.

While building a treehouse isn’t necessarily a death sentence, damaging the trunk is one of the ways to kill a tree. If you’re concerned about the tree, opt for a treehouse support system rather than attaching it directly to the trunk. This may involve using bolts and brackets to affix the structure to the tree's branches or establishing a standalone support system that remains unattached to the tree.

Yes, barndominiums are energy-efficient as long as insulation professionals properly install quality insulation, windows, and doors. Utility bills for barndo living can be up to 50% lower than those for a traditional home.  Make your barndo more energy efficient by working with contractors and HVAC professionals to strategically place windows, doors, and heating/cooling systems.

Tiny houses, often called tiny homes, need between 100 to 400 square feet, with the most common size being between 200 and 300 square feet. Tiny houses more than 400 square feet venture into apartment-size dwellings and may be considered more of a traditional house than a tiny home. The number of occupants, desired lifestyle, and furniture will all be major factors that determine the desired tiny house size.

It is recommended that you check with your local building official on barn building requirements and rules, since size restrictions vary greatly from region to region based on what your property is zoned for. Some cities limit barn construction depending on if your property is residential or commercial. The three main factors your building commission will evaluate are:

  • Height and lot coverage: How tall your barn is and how much of your total property it occupies

  • Setback: Distance between barn and property line

  • Easement: Legal right for another owner to access another’s property
