"Fred, Ben, and the entire crew (including subcontractors) were very professional, and genuinely cared about us and our opinions. They explained each step in the process and answered all questions. Everything was done timely and the quality of their work is excellent. They also went above and beyond to assist us with another project we had going on at the same time. We could not have asked for a better crew!!!"

"Nick and Ian were great. We built on a 1000 sq. ft. Apartment for our parents onto our house. They handled subs as well as work directly under them. Prior to starting this project we hired them to build a 20 x 40 steel building. They gave us drawings for the apartment and handled the permitting for the building as well."

"Jesus is an amazingly talented welder and iron door designer. I gave him a few pictures of what I would like and he customized my door and gates to perfection. I have referred him to several friends and neighbors. He is extremely polite, professional, reliable, and passionate about the details of his work. He’s prices are fair and reasonable. I can brag about him all day! He’s work is incredible!"

Garages questions, answered by experts

Without a doubt, insulating a garage door is a surefire way to make your home more energy efficient. Not only does insulating your garage door reduce your electric bills, but it also helps protect your valuables inside your garage, all while making for a quieter interior space.

In regions that drop below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, your car's battery is at risk of malfunctioning in a garage that drops dangerously low. So, homeowners who reside in extremely cold climates can especially benefit from insulating their garages.

The best way to prevent your garage door from freezing is to install a permanent source of heat in the garage. You can have a professional tie in your main heating system or install a ductless mini split as a standalone heating solution. You can also insulate the garage to prevent temperatures from dropping to the point that the door freezes shut.

Each garage door is different, but they typically operate between 300 MHz and 390 MHz.

To properly maintain an epoxy garage floor, regularly sweep up dirt and debris using a broom and dustpan or a vacuum cleaner. Mop with warm water and scrub away stains using a mild cleaning solution that's safe for the epoxy product you have installed. Don't use any soap-based or chemical cleaners, as these can cause the epoxy surface to deteriorate more rapidly.

If you also have a standard door leading to your garage, install a robust deadbolt lock and reinforce the frame with security plates. Then, secure any windows with shatterproof glass or film to deter break-ins. Consider a smart garage door opener for your car entrance, enabling remote monitoring and control through your smartphone. Motion-activated lighting around the garage to deter intruders is a great way to amplify these security efforts. Lastly, educate your family on security practices, such as keeping the garage entrances closed and locked.
