Owner came out promptly after my call to give a bid. He was friendly, honest and knowledgeable. They came the next day and paved over a quarter mile driveway in one day. Everyone was friendly and respectful and worked very hard. Beautiful work and so happy with the whole project.

Grass and concrete pavers are more affordable, while stone and cobblestone pavers are on the higher end of that price range. You need to repair any major damage on your asphalt driveway before sealing it. Hire a professional for major repairs. Asphalt driveway repairs cost $2,459 on average, or $1 to $3 per linear foot . Heavier damages, such as potholes, minor sinking, and crumbling, cost $2 to $5 per linear foot . It might be a better deal if you bundle repair and sealing in one project and have your contractor take care of everything.

You can expect your asphalt pavement to last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, or 25 years on average. The life expectancy of your asphalt driveway depends on the climate, the amount of traffic, and how well you maintain it. While you can’t necessarily control some of these factors, you can control the amount of maintenance effort you put into your driveway.

To prevent your asphalt from deteriorating prematurely, you should follow a good maintenance routine involving regular cleaning, reparation work, and resealing.
