We had to reschedule several times due to the rain and holidays, and they were always very agreeable. Really nice company!"

The cost for a professional tree service runs anywhere between $200 and $760, depending on the size and type of the tree. It might also cost more if you live in a remote area or if the tree is difficult to access, though a pro might offer a discount if you have multiple trees to trim.

These methods allow you to kill a stump using minimal machinery and physical exertion.

If you’re buying a small tree with lots of room to grow, expect to pay around $100 to $200 for a potted version. But if you’re buying a larger tree—say one over 10 feet—prices rise, starting in the $500 to $600 range and increasing quickly from there. Keep in mind that paying for professional palm tree planting or transplanting services will increase the cost.

This depends on the type of tree you are moving. Deciduous trees excel when moved in early spring before growth begins or in the fall after the leaves drop. Evergreens are most successfully transplanted in early spring or at the tail-end of summer. Pine trees do best in early fall but wait until late fall to move maple trees. Basically, you want a dormant tree with reduced foliage, but winter is a no-go, as frost in the soil is a huge risk to the roots as you dig.
