"Arrived a day late, indicating that they "had been out late the night before". Removed the sub-floor on day 1/2 and found that the sub floor was 5/4 instead of the 3/4 that they had planned. Except they didn't bother telling ME that until the last day and advised that they could fix the 1/2 step running down the middle of my living room and kitchen for twice the price. I spent $400 and 5 days on my hands and knees fixing this problem. Damage done to walls that was not repaired, 2 doors need to be re-hung, siding removed from the back of the house (other option was the demolition of most of my kitchn cabinets) that is still not hung back up. Most days for the crew started at around 9:30-10:00 and ended about 3:30 in the afternoon. Did I mention that my wife and I were in a local hotel for then entirety of the repair process. To say that I am very unhappy with my experience with Foundation recovery systems would be an understatement. I will not refer them and never use them again."

Concrete can crack from general wear, improper installation, or in response to uneven support from the soil underneath. The most idyllic building material that encapsulates the feel of Federal architecture is a brick facade, often with bricks alternating between long side and short side. Palladium and arched transom windows are also prevalent, as are flat, white window lintels. More ornate Federal architecture buildings also include columns on either side of the front door. More important than most of the finer details, though, is the symmetry from the exterior. On the interior, ornate plaster moldings and plaster ceiling medallions are indicative of the style.

Dry pour concrete cures in the same amount of time as wet pour concrete, so you’re looking at four to six hours for it to harden, 24 to 48 hours before you can remove forms and expose the slab to foot traffic, a week before it can stand up to vehicle traffic, and about a month for it to be fully cured.

There are quite a few differences between concrete and asphalt. Concrete is more costly up front and more challenging to repair. Asphalt does better in cold climates and works well with radiant heat systems. Porous asphalt is also excellent for wet climates, as it allows the water to drain away. However, it does get unpleasantly hot in the summer and requires more maintenance than concrete.

Labor and pouring adds between $8 and $18 per square foot to your total for concrete delivery. Especially for larger projects, it’s usually a good idea to hire a professional concrete delivery company when it comes to installing concrete surfaces even though it will undoubtedly cost more to hire a pro to do the work for you.
