"My chest freezer broke down and I did not want to buy a new one since I could not afford the same size. I reached out to appliance parts pro and they were confident that what I ordered would fix my problem. $200 in parts later and I now have a broken freezer on my porch and am still paying the loan to this terrible company. They just want you to order parts and try them because they know you can't return them. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and will make sure that anyone that has a broken appliance will not use them. To top it off, their site is so screwed up that it give you an error trying to log back in. I ended up having to create THREE different accounts because every time I went to place a new order, it would not let me login and it would not send a password reset email. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF."

Zinc roofing develops a patina over time, turning from dark shades to lighter ones. The material, or at least the patina coating, is somewhat self-healing by filling in small gaps and scratches on its own.  

Depending on the condition of your roof, you may be able to add flashing to it. If you’re looking for a way to maintain its integrity while saving some money, you should ask a roofing pro if this is an option. Most standing seam metal roofs last between 50 and 80 years. Certain high-end metals like copper or zinc can last up to 100 years if well-maintained. However, once you see rust, it’s probably well advanced. Winterize your car and avoid driving before or immediately after ice storms to reduce rock salt effects.
