"They came when they said they would. The price was reasonable. Very nice and professional. The only The problem I had was they could have done a better job on the cracks. Other than that they did a good job. I would recommend them."

"For the most part they did a good job. There are a few things I was not happy about, but they were minor. They completed the job in February and the roof looks and functions great. I would do business with them again for sure."

"Our house was damaged by a tree that fell on the roof. After the roof was rebuilt by carpenters, Weather Proofing Experts agreed to apply the roof shingles. They did so very quickly to avoid any more water damage to the house interior. They even came on a Saturday with a crew of 4 to make the house weather tight again before more rain the next day. I really appreciate the fact that the roof was applied within a week of the damage and the cost was totally within the estimate of the insurance adjuster. I would definitely call Weather Proofing Experts again if I need more roof work."

"Travis' roofing team showed up early and got to work.  The job went quickly and professionally.  The roofers were careful to clean up everything before they left.  They really did a good job I had another roofer come and inspect their work and he said everything was done correctly to uphold the shingles factory warranty.  Apparently many roofers cut cost by using an inferior top shingle for the ridge causing the shingle's warranty to be void.
I would use Duraplex roofing in the future.

Masonry questions, answered by experts

Completing masonry work takes one to three days for small repairs, while mid-size projects require one to two weeks. Large structural jobs demand three to six weeks. Weather significantly impacts timelines in Batesville. Summer heat requires cooling protocols, and winter freezes halt mortar application. Schedule projects during the optimal spring and fall seasons. Account for local building permit processing, adding three to ten business days to your start date.

Helpful?

Address climate hazards by monitoring for sudden severe weather and implementing heat stress protocols during hot AR summers. Winter projects require freeze protection to prevent slips on scaffolding. Protect your lungs from silica dust when cutting local limestone. Excavation requires proper shoring to prevent collapses in expansive clay soils and karst limestone formations. Always pause work for mandatory safety inspections at specific project stages.

Helpful?

White salt deposits and persistent moss growth signal chronic moisture retention in Batesville's humid environment. Spalling brick faces indicate destructive freeze-thaw damage. Stair-step cracking, horizontal foundation cracks, and diagonal cracks radiating from windows point to serious structural movement in the expansive clay soil. A leaning chimney or a bowing wall means the structural backing has failed. Address these warning signs immediately to prevent total wall collapse.

Helpful?

Combine masonry work with drainage improvements to manage heavy AR rainfall and clay soil challenges. Pair chimney repairs with roof replacements or HVAC gas insert conversions to avoid reopening the same work area twice. Apply a breathable exterior sealant after repointing to protect your fresh mortar. Sequence these trades carefully rather than working simultaneously to prevent scheduling conflicts during the busy spring storm season.

Helpful?

Unforeseen expenses during masonry work frequently stem from Batesville’s karst topography, where hidden subsurface voids demand additional fill. Expansive clay soils cause foundation movement requiring stabilization. High annual rainfall conceals extensive water damage, exposing rotted framing behind the visible brick. Sourcing specialty materials to match historic downtown bricks adds to your project total. Extended weather holds during spring storms or winter freezes also inflate labor requirements.
