"I paid 3500 for a new pine privacy fence. I was putting a sealer on it, and the fence gate was blown shut by wind and broke the latch. I took a look at the latch and realized how extremely cheap it was. I called the contractor to ask for a replacement, to which he told me it wasn’t cheap and that it couldn’t have been wind that broke it. I found a better, sturdier, latch at Lowe’s for 25 bucks and installed it myself. Disappointed that I paid a premium price but didn’t receive great service. Would not recommend."

"I am unhappy with this service. I initally booked this service amd put plainly in the comments that I needed 4 outlets, 2 ceiling fans, light switches and power ran out to a 20x20 shed. I called and spoke to Amanda the day before, went over the project details again and got a list of items that we needed to purchase before they arrived. The day of service he arrived and claimed we didn't have everything. He then went to home depot to grab more things. When he came back we then discussed again what we needed done. He stated that, that wasn't what he was booked for. He did not install the ceiling fans or run power out to our shed as requested. He gave us a card and told us to to call to book him again and he would give us another estimate to finish the work. I feel like I was scammed out of my money. I would not use them again. This was my first time using Angi and I won't be using it again either."

Yes, you can fill rotten wood with expanding foam. You may prefer using an expanding foam treatment instead of wood filler since the latter can take a long time to dry. It may also provide an easier solution when you’re dealing with smaller gaps. If you use expanding foam, allow it to cure for about 24 hours before you sand and prime it.

Stay away from using window cleaners and other harsh cleaning solutions on antique wood—or any wood in your home for that matter. The pH of the cleaners can break down the finish and permanently damage and stain the wood below. Even when it comes to more durable areas, such as when cleaning your baseboards, only use cleaning solutions that are safe for porous materials. 

It is possible to refinish a table without stripping and sanding it by repairing small dents. You’ll use a gel stain, and then put on a wipe-on finish. The downside is this won't result in as smooth and as deep of a finish as if you had stripped the table. Also, any blemishes on your table will remain.

If your wood furniture is sticky after already cleaning it, it’s likely from using too many polishes or waxes. You’ll need to remove some of the excess wax with a cloth and warm water mixed with dish soap.
