"Mostly well, but the patio was left wet with spotting and debris from his mop. I was told to let the rain wash it off. However, no rain so I had to scrub the debris off several days later with a push broom and hose. Under the spotting and debris, the patio mildew was gone."

"Mr. Gregory promptly returned my call and came the very next day to give me an estimate and perform the service. I have a large property with many trees, most of which had lost their leaves. Removing them was a monumental task. Mr. Gregory worked from 9:30 a.m. until it became dark and then returned the next morning to finish the task. He'd given me an estimate before he realized how long the leaf removal would take and did not raise his price even though the job took many more hours than he anticipated. In addition, he cut my front lawn without charging me. I plan to use him for lawn services in the future

"Tim Evans and family were all very friendly and easy to work with. Contracted with Tim to begin work on May 6. They came out to pressure wash and prep. Painting began on May 8 and they finished May 11. Noticed some areas of concern and they returned to retouching with no issues. A good group of folks and the house looks great!!"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.

Sandblasting refers to the process of cleaning a surface using compressed air and aggregate. Soda blasting is the gentlest type of this method, but it differs from sandblasting that uses mineral or other aggregate, since sodium bicarbonate breaks apart more easily than other forms of blast media and, therefore, cannot be reused.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.
