"Miss [Member Name Removed], Thank you for letting our company do your interior painting. Tom Evans"
He started around June 13 and completed the work on June 18, 2014 and stated if anything needed correcting, that he would be glad to come back and fix any issues. I contacted Tim the next day to inform him that they missed some spots on the screened porch and that the stain on the deck was smeared and didn?t seem to be applied evenly. He promised he would come back in a few days. He had me email him pictures of the problems. He stated he was going to show the pictures to the stain distributor. To this day, Tim has not returned or had any communication with me. After multiple emails and me finally threatening to detail my experience to Angie's list , I was contacted by his brother-in-law who works for him. He promised to come by and to see the issue. He came by and contacted me stating that the stain didn't apply correctly but that he would try some things. He assured me that he was going to handle this to my satisfaction. He came by and did a test on one of the posts. I told him that what he did was satisfactory but not great but that if he would just do that to the deck, we would be satisfied.
I have since emailed him on multiple occasions and each time he has promised to return but has still not returned to complete the work. He promised he would fix the issue on Sept 3rd. Today is Oct 4, 2014 and he still has not returned. I have run out of patience and will need to get and pay someone more reputable to fix his shoddy work. His company and he obviously care nothing about customer service and does not stand by his work. I feel like I was cheated and that his word means nothing. I definitely would not recommend Evan?s painting .
"Thank you very much, we certainly appreciate your business! It was a pleasure to work for you."
Since we are getting our house ready to sell, the color consultation was a life saver. Tim was careful to steer us towards neutral colors. I was pleasantly surprised that he did not try to up-sell the paint selection, rather he volunteered where we could use cheaper paint that was actually higher quality than what we had in mind.
The project was completed on time and on budget. That was no surprise given my experience in the past. Tim Evans runs his business with honesty and a high level of care to quality. As a repeat customer we have been more than pleased with his craftsmanship and attention to detail. We will continue to use him on all of my future projects.
"Thank you very much [removed members name]. As always it was a pleasure working for you! Please let me know if you see anything that may need touching up and I will get right back to take care of it."
"Mrs. [removed member name], I am sorry that you are not happy with the job but I have called you numerous times and left voice mails in an attempt to set up an appointment to come back and take care of any problems. The only problem that you told me about was that some of the trim strips had become loose. As you can see from the many positive reviews that I have on Angie's List, I always take care of my customers and am always more than happy to return for any touch-ups. I will be more than happy to come back and take care of any problems. Please contact me at the office number and I assure you that any problems will be resolved."
"We certainly enjoyed working for you and we appreciate your business very much!!"
Just an all around good experience!

"I am sorry that you thought our price was too high. That price did include the wood repair work, painting the new wood, painting the brick entrance pillars in addition to the deck and front door refinishing. It was very nice to meet you and I hope that you keep us in mind for any future painting or repair projects."
"Thank you very much! I enjoyed working for you and I appreciate your business very much. If you see anything that needs any touch up please don't hesitate to call me."
"Thank you very much!! I certainly enjoyed working for you and I appreciate your business very much. If there is anything that needs to be touched up or if I can be of any assistance at all, please don't hesitate to call me."
We compared prices and they were cheaper and that everyone else were overcharge just to come out and do the trim work though we want to go with someone that would do the trim work right and do the inside and other say no we will not do the inside at the same time but we will just do the outside and because what?s bigger job is the inside. They came out the next day after they talked to my wife and they came out and gave her a price and they asked us when they will start and we wanted it to. She is happy with their job and she feels safe with them around the house.
"Thank you, we enjoyed working for you and we appreciate your business!! We certainly hope to work for you again in the future."
"Thank you very much! It was very nice working for you and I certainly appreciate your business."

"Thank you very much!! It was a pleasure working for you and we certainly appreciate your business. If there is anything at all that needs touching up, please don't hesitate to call me. Thanks again and I look forward to working for you again in the future."
I would rate them an A on their painting and a B on their exterior carpentry repairs. They took care with their work and did a good job protecting our house, landscaping, etc.
They had a little trouble with some of the trim replacement, but they worked through it and did a good job in the end with out me having to hassle them about it.
I would have liked to see a little better prep work on the exterior wood trim, but it is a house exterior, not furniture. The paint job looks great 6 months later.
I did call them back to re-do a couple of screened porch window screens that were looser than the others. They came right out and worked the punch list items the same week.
I would hire them again with no reservations for painting. I might look for another contractor for exterior carpentry repairs, but their work in that aspect was acceptable.
This was my first house-painting project with a contractor, so I don't have anything to compare them to, but I think that they are very intelligent, professional, and honest compared to a lot of painting contractors (based on what I have heard from friends).

The first day, Oct. 29th they came out to the house to clean it and remove mold. They did this with a power sprayer and a clorox solution especially made for cleaning houses. After allowing the house to dry the next day was devoted to caulking and painting. They caulked and paintied all day filling all cracks around windows, on the vertical 1x4 corners, around doors, pediments, chimney's etc.. Wednesday was devoted to painting what remained of the house and then starting the windows, soffet, shutters, and trim. All work was done by Thursday. Our house is a 4bdrm house and the men did a nice job for us giving the house a great coat of paint. The industrial sprayer they used really put a solid coat of paint on the house. Having painted my house a dozen years ago, I know a good coat of paint when it's applied and the Evans brothers really did a good job for us. The men were very pleasant and gave professional advice when needed. On Wednesday and Thursday, the day the windows were cut and trimmed they brought their Dad over who has been a painter all his life and who helped with windows, doors, and trim. Before leaving they told me it would take a couple of weeks before the window caulking cured, so they could come back and clean the windows. The driveway and surrounding yard were left clean and neat once the men were finished. The house was painted beautifully and my wife and I are very appreciative of the job Evans did for us. I highly recommend Evans Painting. This is a family of painters who are professionals, hardworking, fellows that it was a pleasure to have at my house for four days painting.
"Thank you very much. It was a pleasure working for you and we certainly appreciate your business very much!!!"
They showed up on time, got the job done within a week, and were careful to cover and protect mom's antiques inside and were neat outside as well.
Tim and his crew did a great job, inside and out, and we are pleased. We would recommend them to anyone, without hesitation.
"Thanks so much Member, it was truly a pleasure to work for you and your mom. Please let me know if you see anything that needs touching up and I will get right back to take care of it. I appreciate your business very much!!"
