"I had a booger of a job because of the type of hot water tank that had to be replaced; but the installation went well. Jim did a great job and was very thorough. "I'm a repeat customer.  Meeks has been performing this service over the past 20 plus years. Called to schedule a normal 5 year service.  They arrived on time and completed the work.  I had concern the lid might be damaged since the ground has settled significantly in the last few months.  They checked all the lid sections were intact and confirmed there was no damage.

"Serviced was performed. The technician and assistant arrived wearing masks. They were very polite and professional. He assessed the problem and provided me with two quotes: One, to unclog drain and repair garbage disposal. Two, unclog drain and replace garbage disposal. I chose the quote for a replacement. Service was performed rather quickly, within an hour after actual work was begun. I would definitely hire them again."

"Gregg was on time, very professional, installed the new faucet, took the old one away. He cleaned up after himself and even took time to explain to me the need to keep a small plastic tool provided with new faucet to remove the aerator in the new faucet. ".Professional and courteous.  They arrived  early  Monday morning ready to work.  They tore out the floor and were careful to throw the scraps away from my flowers outside.  They wasted no time replacing  the floor with heavy plywood.  It really looks wonderful.  Neat job,  No waste,  They cleaned up and swept before they left.  I  was very happy with the job they did and very surprised at how fast they got it finished.   I  would recommend Rent a Man for any job you may need done,

These appliances do unscrew, but you need to disconnect everything properly when you replace your garbage disposal. Make sure you shut the power off to the area first and check that it’s off with a voltage detector. Disconnect the main drain line and P-trap, and then disconnect the dishwasher drain line if you have one connected. You can then unscrew your garbage disposal using a disposal wrench. Just make sure you disconnect the electrical lines before removing your appliance.

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

With heavy usage, a motor may last a minimum of five years, while grinding plates will wear down over time. It's generally a good idea to consider a replacement if your unit is approaching the 10-year mark.
