**We do not currently offer foam insulation.** We offer fiberglass blown insulation and radiant barrier ** We are state trained weatherization contractor. We can help you lower your energy consumption which in turn lowers your energy cost.

"I am so glad I chose GPI Insulation for my job. They inspected my home to determine exactly what was needed to insulate the cold areas, suggested how they could minimize access to install the insulation and gave me a comparable estimate. They were so knowledgeable and thorough, I chose them to do my work. They were on time, polite and personable, and cleaned up after themselves. Actually, my home looked like no one had been here, especially no one working. And I watched them as they did work. I highly recommend GPI Insulation and will keep their information in my contacts. Thank you, GPI. Good job!"

68 years of experience

Since 1958, B-Dry has been committed to making sure your basement or crawlspace is solid and dry. At B-Dry, you have the strength of a large, national organization standing behind the personalized service of your local B-Dry office. In addition, we don't use contractors or sub-contractors for our work. All of our crews are trained professionals and are employees of B-Dry.

"I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company and strongly suggest you stay away from them. I paid thousands of dollars for a French drain to be installed in my backyard and to have my gutters connected to it ? the goal was to keep water away from my foundation. One of their employees almost passed out in my backyard, and I was about to call 911. The manager refused to let him go home, and another worker quit on the spot because he didn?t like how his coworker was being mistreated. The next time they came out, one of the guys asked me what he was supposed to be doing because he had no idea. I had to stand over them and constantly micromanage to prevent more mistakes ? they clearly weren?t prepared or trained for the job. After paying thousands, nothing changed. My issue was never fixed, and I completely wasted my money. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company!"

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Installing sheets of plywood over attic insulation is a popular choice, especially in storage spaces. That said, insulation works by trapping hot air—so it needs extra space to expand and be effective, or you might reduce the energy efficiency of your home.

It’s important that you never compress the insulation by installing flooring directly on top of it. In many houses, you’ll need to install a subfloor before putting plywood over insulation in your attic.

Yes, you can install insulation over ductwork, and doing so can save you money. Without insulation, the HVAC unit must work harder to force warm or cool air around the home, and once the air reaches the vent, it may not be the correct temperature. Insulating HVAC ducts makes your system work more efficiently, saving you money on heating and cooling bills.

Experts use advanced techniques and tools to assess existing insulation levels and identify gaps. They implement strategic placement of new insulation to ensure complete coverage, optimizing thermal resistance and energy efficiency.

An insulated garage benefits from roof vents to ensure proper ventilation and prevent moisture buildup. Insulation can trap moisture in the garage, especially during temperature fluctuations, and roof vents play a crucial role in expelling the moisture in the air. Including roof vents promotes air circulation, preventing condensation and enhancing overall air quality.

Air sealing isn't necessary for attic insulation, but it's incredibly helpful since it can help you identify and patch any existing air leaks. Failing to find these leaks before adding insulation can render your insulation less effective, leading to higher energy bills and potentially costly repairs down the line.
