I am a one-man shop trying to put together beautiful and useful works of art with wood so that someone might enjoy them in their home.

"STL Woodworking did a stellar job with my special order for a one-of-a-kind river wood table. I described what I had in mind in terms of wood, colors, and size, and the owner (Greg) crafted the most beautiful table made out of a beautiful piece of macacauba wood and paired with a gorgeous epoxy color and a perfect set of black metal table legs. Greg completed the project on schedule and delivered the piece himself. The table is stunning, so I rearranged my furniture to make it a centerpiece in my sitting area, and I use it daily as my desk working from home. It is truly a piece of functional art. I am so glad I went with STL Woodworking for this project."

You’ll need a stud finder to get you started, but the installation will be a breeze if you’ve already done all the hard work to build the cabinet bases yourself. To make this process easier, you can add your shims before attaching the bases to your cabinets while they’re still light and easy to move around.

Costs depend on cabinet type, labor rates, and additional features like hardware upgrades.

There are three primary ways to attach upper kitchen cabinets to a wall, and installers may use more than one method at a time. The most common method is to drive screws through the back of the cabinets and into studs in the wall behind. Sometimes cabinets are glued to the wall with strong adhesive. Often a combination of screws and adhesive is desirable. The last way is by hanging the cabinets on hardware brackets that attach to the wall before cabinet installation.

To install cabinet doors evenly, it’s important to make sure that all drilled holes and hardware are in their right places and aligned properly.
