Comments: - Sears Home Improvement does not do the job. They hire anybody contractor to do the project. - The crew miss introducing themselves on arrival at the house and have no identification card. - It took 1 year for the project to start. - The crew does not understand and speak English. One guy speaks English but did not really pay attention on what we are telling him. - Lack of experience. They did not know that you must overlap the top corner section over the lower corner part. - The first day. The crew leader sits in the truck for 3 hours offering not much help. Then at noon, 2 guys left leaving only 2 non-English doing the job. - Dirty spot and hand mark at many places on the new vinyl. Tools: - They did not have the required tools for the job. No hand saw, hack saw, reciprocating saw, etc Just hammers and crowbar are not enough. - One knife for 3 guys. - One battery charger for 2 batteries. The contract: - None of the crew guys knows the project scope. They have not read the project specifications at all. They were about to remove the vinyl form the gabble which is not part of the project. They did not have the plywood required to walk and work on the deck roof which was clearly specified on the project specifications. - The deck roof is all dented now because they walk directly on the roof metal. I have pictures if you want. - They did know the bottom clapboard board was supposed to be Tuscan grey. - Ordered too must material, probably 15% left over and wasted. Missed to do: - Cleanup, all the construction debris and nails left on the deck roof. I went and clean that. I have pictures if you want. - No caulking around the main electrical wires getting into the house wall. I had to do the caulking myself. I have pictures if you want. - No caulking around the internet wires getting into the house wall I did this caulking too. I have pictures if you want. - I have two internet cables to my house. One of them was not even attached back to the house, left hanging loose. I had to fix that.

The transformer was a contractor under the Sears name. The contract was signed in December and was not completed until mid-June. I expected a delay in the beginning because everyone was experiencing delays throughout the country in getting materials? my issues were with the workmanship and getting them to complete the job. The job was started in March?. After I was told the job was complete these were my findings: I inspected the work at my house on April 5th I found several things needing additional attention. I sent several follow-up emails with pictures of the items I have mentioned below. Front of house: The railing of the porch was removed and I found it laying on the ground on the side of the house. The doorbell was removed and laying on the porch. The area above the front door and around the door was not wrapped in vinyl. The floodlight on the right side of the house was removed, it was left with the wires exposed. I did not find the flood light fixture around the house. Please note that this has been a rental house for a number of years and the past tenants did not keep the yard in the best condition, but there was a small amount of vinyl debris left around the house that was disposed of. I was not as concerned about this as the other findings but I do believe it was worth mentioning. I was asked to sign off on the work in April? stating that the repairs would be done quicker as warranty work. I REFUSED TO DO THAT! It was not warranty work it was unfinished work. I encountered company representatives that were either awful with follow through (Hamid) or non-responsive (Mo). I do thank my salesman Casey Rhinehart who was absolutely wonderful to work with and was prompt with responding throughout the process. Overall I am pleased with the overall job but the process to get to the end was frustrating and disappointing? I expected so much more from the Sears name.. which was one of the reasons they were selected to do the job. This is why I will never recommend Sears for siding work. This was a 13 K project,

In short: the installation team was perfect, the company lacked communication and were unresponsive once my project started. Here's the story: I had the sales guy come out to give me an estimate. We walked around the outside of my house and I explained what I wanted: dark siding with bright white trim. I had the colors picked out already. He answered my questions and was very polite and courteous. He promised lots. He said that when they pulled off my existing siding, they would replace any damaged wood and it would be included in the project cost, not extra. I pointed out the storage sheds in my car port weren't fully sided, they were literally just 2x4s with aluminum siding for walls, no wood sheeting underneath. He said no problem, the crew would sheet it, no additional charge. He gave me his number so I could call him if anything were to go wrong during the installation process. Due to back orders and shipping delays my project didn't get started for about 10 months. That was fine, I didn't care. The crew that showed up was AMAZING. The problem was they didn't have all the information from the installation form. Turned out the salesman didn't fill it out correctly and my white trim wasn't on the order. Luckily the warehouse is always fully stocked with white, so it wasn't a problem. Then I found out the storage closets in the carport were not mentioned in the order, so not only did the crew not have sheeting for it, they also didn't have siding for it. I tried to call my sales guy, but he no longer works for them. The project manager wouldn't answer my calls and never returned them, never checked in with me at all during installation. Turns out he only had a few days left before he was leaving the company, too. I felt bad for the installation team. The new project manager never returned calls or checked in with me, either. I wish I found the install team and worked directly with them the whole time instead of going through Sears to find them.

The final product looks very nice but painful road to get there. Many delays (some weather related, but mostly not), missing parts that had to be ordered after the project was started. My yard was left a mess at the beginning with boxes of product left to be rained on for days before falling apart. A bucket of hundreds of nails tipped into my neighbors yard that I had to clean (left on top of a box that disintegrated). Wrapping flew off my house that I had to chase down because no one had showed. Poor communication at the beginning (improved after email to customer service). No attempt to make things right (i.e. discount or anything like that). Crew arrived on February 11 and did not complete the project until March 11. Many days with no idea why the crew was not there (i.e. no adverse weather conditions, etc.).

To bad, I can't give them a 10 because I would. Angela my project manager was awesome. She kept me up to date every step of the way and Andrey was a very diligent working. He worked for 7 days on my siding and other repairs that we found along the way. The siding looks awesome, just like a whole new house. Would 100% recommend this contractor and this company. Keep up the great work Angela and Andrey. Hope we can do business again.

The sales rep said the project could be installed in 4-5 weeks. The project manager initially expected 12 weeks then went above and beyond to find installers that could get the work done earlier. The installers came from 6 hrs away and worked hard every day for 5 weeks with great quality, but they were short staffed due to Covid and the project ended up taking about 10 weeks from signing to done, which given Covid impacts was the best they couldâ  ve done.

The materials are good quality-the customer service is not. Make sure you get everything in writing; the salesman will promise things that they canâ t do. They contracted it out and my job took a year to complete and he was traveling five hours away. We paid more to go with this company only to feel we didnâ t get what was promised. Buyer beware

Company was good. They are on the more expensive side but have a long history to back thier lifetime warranty and the warranty is transferable once. So it can be moved when selling the house. The install went well. The installers were friendly and did good work. The only complaint I have is that they didn't clean my yard up as well as they could have at the end. I'm still finding some vinyl hear and there as well as nails

The installers were contracted through Transform. The contractors company name is TNT EXTERIORS LLC. out of Ogden, UT. We are so impressed and very pleased with the work they have done and thoroughly completed! They cleaned up every day and were here everyday on time. Very courteous and friendly, a pleasure to be around. Our project manager kept us informed all along the way and was pleasant to talk to. Even our neighbor took their business card to hire them for work on his place. Our house looks beautiful for the first time in over 20 years!!
