"I had puddles of standing water under my house for a year. The plumber found no leaks and said it would evaporate in the summer. Well it didn't and I called Crawlspace Doctor of Huntsville, Alabama. Sawyer Williams was great at explaining the issue and the costs, and it was a no pressure visit. He explained to me the four causes of water in a crawlspace and suggested the best way to SOLVE the problem, not put a band aid on it. They have just finished a full encapsulation, sump pump, and dehumidifier with a digital thermostat I can monitor from in my home. The workmen came out on schedule - were friendly, responsible, and efficient. Sawyer came back to get under the house and inspect their work. I was VERY pleased with the results, and would recommend Crawlspace Doctor of Huntsville, Alabama highly."

"stephan not only did a fine job and fixed the problem window, he explained how he chose the method of repair as opposed to more expensive solutions.  He was personable without being silly and we would gladly chose him - and Pittner - again if needed.

"We are rebuilding a log cabin, and needed approximately 3000sq ft of drywall. None of it was straightforward, and none of it was easy. David took the time to fully understand what we wanted, help me estimate the amount of drywall to purchase, and gave me a written detailed quote the same day. When I told him I wanted to hire him, he was ready within a week. He uses a subcontractor to hang the drywall, and then he does all of the mud and tape work himself. He was professional about his work, and didn't ask to be paid until we were happy with the work."

"The job went great. We have an entrance to the bedroom from a back porch so the painters did not have to go through any other part of the house. They did not leave any thrash laying around and were very neat. I would highly recommend them to anyone else. We had another contractor bid the job and the prices were comparable. We chose Brad because he looked more professional.

Do not pre-pay with this company.  Evidently, it was poorly priced..  Everyone of his employees came out said "no, can't do it for that price", but I had already paid for the job through Angie's List.  When the representative first came out, he quoted all this stuff he could do, but I only wanted what I had paid for.  It almost took me throwing a fit to get them to do the job quoted & paid for.  I still have uneven places that the worker did not smooth out.  Also, I was constantly being told he would be out at a certain time and then the worker who was supposed to be a supervisor would not show up.

NEVER PREPAY WITH COBOLT CONSTRUCTION.

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Services include creating technical drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings for construction or renovation projects.

How long it takes to build an in-law suite will vary by type. The time it takes to build an addition will typically be less than for completely new construction. Expect to spend about two months if you convert a basement, attic, or other existing room in your home. New structures can take up to five months, plus up to two months to receive the required permits.

Designing a building takes 2-6 months, depending on project size, required permits, and revisions.

Yes, you can draw your own deck plans in many cases. However, you must know your local building codes and be familiar with carpentry principles. Even then, it's always best to run your plans by a professional contractor with experience building decks, whether you choose to DIY some of the build or not.

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.
