I had puddles of standing water under my house for a year. The plumber found no leaks and said it would evaporate in the summer. Well it didn't and I called Crawlspace Doctor of Huntsville, Alabama. Sawyer Williams was great at explaining the issue and the costs, and it was a no pressure visit. He explained to me the four causes of water in a crawlspace and suggested the best way to SOLVE the problem, not put a band aid on it. They have just finished a full encapsulation, sump pump, and dehumidifier with a digital thermostat I can monitor from in my home. The workmen came out on schedule - were friendly, responsible, and efficient. Sawyer came back to get under the house and inspect their work. I was VERY pleased with the results, and would recommend Crawlspace Doctor of Huntsville, Alabama highly.

The work was explained in full & made easy to understand by Nick .I had several estimates they were not the lowest but I’m so happy I choose them . This company did an excellent job. Other companies report they do the “best work in town”. One vendor reported our crawl space so clean “you could eat off the floor”.

I contacted the Crawlspace Doctors for an estimate in June of 2017. Nick Williams gave the estimate and was very professional, courteous, and upfront about pricing and what he thought I needed rather than trying to sell me the most expensive package. He had given me a previous estimate in 2015 and he honored that same price even though the current estimate would have been more expensive due to their upgrade in materials and equipment. Nick also explained it might be several weeks before they could start work but he maintained contact with me until a crew could arrive at the house. Ben Hovey came with his crew in August and completed the work in two days as promised. They removed the old insulation, vapor barrier, and all of the old debris. They installed a new vapor barrier, a sump pump, and dehumidifier and completely cleaned up their work space with no disruptions at all. They contacted their electrician who connected the electrical equipment to the house a few weeks later. I couldn't be happier with the Crawlspace Doctors and the great work they did - I highly recommend them!

I found the Crawl Space Doctor and I gave them a call they came out and explained in detail what was required to be completed. Parts were ordered and a date was set to begin the work. I was so impressed with their professionalism, and explained what work was going to be done each day. I know I spent alot of money to have this worked completed and it was worth EVERY CENT. There is no longer any smell and my floors are warmer. The detail work that went into completing this work is EXTREMELY HARD WORK and it is done by hand

The work team was professional and efficient, making sure they cleaned up after themselves each day. Other service professionals have commented on what an excellent job the Crawlspace Doctor did with sealing our basement. One comment was "it's so clean down there you could eat off the floor" although I won't test that out. This was money well spent.

I had a mold and water issue under my 2,700 SqFt ranch home found by an HVAC contractor. I had both AFS and Crawlspace Dr provide quotes for identical repair and remediation. The only difference was a small difference in the thickness of the liner material. AFS was substantially higher and used very high pressure sales techniques. So I went with Crawlspace DR. They were timely every day and worked with the HVAC contractor to complete the total crawlspace repair. They dug a drainage system and installed two sump pumps prior to soda blasting the entire Crawlspace. The space was then encapsulated and dehumidifier installed with new electrical circuits and water alarms in the garage. I can't say enough about how they walked me through the whole process and accommodated my schedule for the repair. I would use them and recommend them any time.

Great job and great people to work with. They explained the issues that needed to be addressed, the options available for each issue, and their experiences and lessons-learned in dealing with these problems over the years. They showed up on schedule with the owner overseeing the work, and they finished a little ahead of schedule. The price was very reasonable and every aspect of the job and the cleanup was professionally done.

Excellent work by a very professional and extremely competent company. Nick and Ben run a top notch outfit and were extremely flexible with their schedule to accommodate changes driven by a failed HVAC unit. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. From the upfront manner in which Nick explained what needed to be done and how we could cut costs to how their team was always on time and never left a mess to interfere with our daily schedule. The Crawlspace Doctor performed all of the work per the contract. Because my crawlspace was quite irregular, I opted to have them hand level the space which require a full day to complete. The encapsulation procedure is extremely labor intensive. Their crew worked very hard for four days to complete the task. They were supervised most all of the time by the owner or his partner. All of the debris was quickly hauled to the dump.
Encapsulation certainly isn't cheap to have this done but you definitely get what you pay for. I had several quotes and their price was pretty much in the middle of the range.  I them based upon their practical approach to the job, their experience and they use a single crew supervised by the owner.
After completion of the job the owner took me through the crawlspace to explain everything that was done. The workmanship was very impressive.
Since the encapsulation, the musty smells are gone. It has been quite a revelation to me. I am not particularly allergic to anything but my wife and daughter are an they've been sneezing a whole lot less.

It went very well. Nick and Ben did exactly what they said they would do an in the time the said they old do it. Excellent job.

They did some work done to our house.  They did a fair estimate and did the work for the amount of money that they quoted.  They did it in a reasonable time.  It’s been a little over a year ago when they did that.  The rough estimate cost of service is about $8000.  They did some pumps, lining, French drains – that all run all the room inside of the foundation and lined the whole thing with plastic.  In the middle of determining I had some weakness in lot of course and I thought maybe they had removed some structure.  I ask them two weeks ago to come by and take a look and I think it takes a little longer than it should for them to come and check it out.  They are just busy but still an “A” they have been yesterday.  For the price – Good, well it’s half with another quote for the same job.

The work was first class, timely and professional.  The crew was on time and very neat.  I could not be more pleased with the quality and results.  I had another quote from AFS which was significantly higher and the company misrepresented the payment method. Mr. Hovey and the workers were always on time and very tidy. Nick Williams provided the overview and methodology. He provided a CD ROM with before and after pictures.  I would give this company the highest recommendation for honesty, ethics, prompt and professional service and very reasonable price.
