"They did a great job. On time, professional , knowledgeable and efficient. The cleaned my 20 foot dryer vent and now my dryer works even better. Checked all the smoke detectors explained how they work and how long they are good for. The same with the co2 detectors. He also explained about the fire extinguishers and which one are the best for which room. I will defiantly have them come back again next year for the yearly inspection.

"Hunter did a terrific job with my dryer vent that I thought for sure was going to be a problem. But as luck would have it it wasnâ  t bad just hadnâ  t been cleaned in a long time. I was told by other companies that it would cost a lot more than what I was charged by this company. This company was fair and honest. Oh and I stick to local businesses when I can and this one is a keeper. Iâ  m going to get a contract from him to come out once a year to make sure I donâ  t have a fire hazard around. Very happy with Hunter. Heâ  s an honest guy who was not trying to upsell more than what I needed and he stayed true to the quote on the phone. Thank you Hunter."

"The installation, when it eventually happened, was very efficient and professional. Attempting to get information on scheduling, however, was fumbled badly. "We're stilly trying to find a technician to do your installation" is not something that a customer wants to hear, ever."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

A chimney requires both a cover and a cap, but these parts often get confused with one another. A chimney cover seals the top of the chimney around the flue pipe to prevent water from entering the chimney. A chimney cap is a piece that sits above the flue to prevent animals, debris, and water from entering the flue.

Having a pellet stove can indeed raise your insurance rates since they're a relatively common cause of fires in the home. However, rate increases vary by insurance provider so you should reach out to yours to determine exactly how much your rates might increase with a new pellet stove install.

Baseboard heaters are generally safe and efficient, but they can be dangerous if safety precautions are not followed. To ensure safety, do not block the heaters with furniture, drapes, open doors, or other items, and maintain clear space around them for proper heat flow. Regularly check that items have not fallen on or under the units. If you have children or pets, make sure they stay clear of hot heaters to avoid burns. For added safety, consider models with an automatic shut-off feature and have them professionally tested. If a problem occurs with a baseboard heater, always contact a qualified electrician or HVAC professional for repairs.

Call 911 immediately. If you have a fire extinguisher or fire blanket near the laundry room, you can attempt to extinguish the fire, but don’t open or touch the dryer. If you can’t put the fire out, evacuate yourself, your family, and your pets from the house, closing the laundry room door behind you. Turn off the electricity to your home via the outside fuse box, then wait for the fire department. After a dryer fire, have your home’s electrical system inspected to make sure there isn’t any damage.

While your forced heating system runs, it can pick up dirt, dust, hair, and other particles from inside your house. Changing your furnace filters regularly is key to preventing this debris from getting stuck in your ducts and swirling around your home. With some types of furnaces, there’s also the potential for carbon monoxide leaks. However, staying up-to-date with your HVAC inspections and installing carbon monoxide sensors can help mitigate this risk.
