He immediately called in two additional hands on the logic that the time saved would be greater than the cost of one man T/S the entire ceiling alone. He was right. Within fifteen minutes of putting ladders into the drop ceiling, all light was restored and the flicker,dimming issue was gone for the first time in three years. The secured all boxes, re-seated all tiles and swept the floor of drop ceiling dust. The bill was much more reasonable than expected. The entire crew was clean, polite and knowledgeable.
