They did a really good job. The price was reasonable. The guys were nice and professional. They cleaned up after themselves. It was a good company to work with as well.

The service is god but far away from the house. I need someone who is closer.

Lovelady Electrical provided a very competitive quote. They arrived on time and completed the job for the price quoted. The problems began at this point. Lovelady Electrical failed to pull a permit, and the utility (Alabama Power) came to investigate due to a disruption in service. We were given 10 days to correct the code violations. It was extremely difficult to find and communicate with Lovelady electrical. They have no voicemail and never answer their phone(s). At some point, we set an appointment. The utility came to my house and disconnected the power, and Lovelady made the required code improvements. Once again, Lovelady failed to apply for and pull a permit for inspection. The utility would not reconnect the power until approved by the inspector. My home and family were without power for 72 hours. I cannot express the frustration, and expense associated with this organizational failure. Nobody cared, nobody apologized.

They have been excellent and are a wonderful company. I have used a lot of companies over the years and they are outstanding. I would highly recommend them and I will continue to use them.

I was quoted a price by Mr. Lovelady, I ok'd. Showed up as appointed, claimed an famiy problem and left. Showed up the next day without calling. Two people this time. One left after a short time, the second one left several hours later for parts and lunch, was gone over 3 hours later. He did some work and had to leave again for family problems. He and another person came back another day, both worked very slowly. Gave me a bill which was many times higher than the $75/ hour quoted. I called Mr Lovelady and was advised that he was out of office, but would return my cll. He never returned my call. After they left I checked some outlets and they were not connected, also some of the work would not pass an inspection. I would not hire again, nor suggest to anyone to hire them.

I use Lovelady Electrical.  He was here about 14 months ago.  The best part is the workmanship and it's a little pricey.
