"Had an initial consultation with their customer service consultant about a month before project was started.  The consultant was very easy to talk to and I felt like he wanted to understand what we wanted to accomplish.  He also seemed to have a lot of knowledge about drainage issues, so we felt like we were in good hands.  The plan was drawn out and we agreed on the work to be done.  The work team came in on the appointed week and got the job done in good time.  There was a minor misunderstanding of the location for the collector grate based on a nuance in the plan sketch drawn up by the consultant.  After we pointed it out, the crew re-worked the trenches and got the collector grate where the sketch had it placed.  They did an excellent job and we are happy with the work they did.  We will look them up again next time we need landscaping work done.
{Update 3/8/13}
 While we were very happy with the work done at the time of project completion, our evaluation changed after the first rainstorm we had.  The pop up emitter was about a half inch higher than the grate collector by the sidewalk, so all the rain from the gutters was flowing out of the grate right by the house and the pop up emitter in the middle of the yard wasn't emitting anything.  The sales rep was very responsive, came out,  and agreed with the problem.  He said we could submit a warranty request through the website.  In all fairness, I did not contact them.  If I did, I still could not give an excellent review because we paid good money for a solution that did not meet best practices the first time.  The installation instructions for the pop up emitter said a 1 percent grade must be accounted for.  If they had just shot the pipe towards a valley in the yard, the requisite 5 inch drop could be achieved with the linear feet of pipe I paid for.   I was also told by the sales rep that to cut the curb and run the drainage to the street would cost  $500 for a permit from the city.  Found out that was not the case from talking to the city.  With a little more technical training of their staff, I feel the value they provide could be much better than it turned out for us."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

There are tools known as “sprinkler donuts” that are specially designed to aid in cutting the grass around your sprinkler heads by protecting them from your mower or weed whacker. You can also use a pair of hand shears to do the job manually if you’re willing to get a little dirty.

The least strenuous methods to get rid of leaves are to use a leaf blower, leaf vacuum, or a lawn mower, since these machines will do most of the work.

If debris from a tree located in a government-owned space (such as a sidewalk, public school, or government property) falls in your yard, it is the city’s or state government’s responsibility to have the debris cleaned up. On the other hand, most states only hold a neighbor liable for cleaning up their tree’s debris if they were negligent in caring for the tree.

Burning yard waste can be an efficient method for large amounts. However, burning has health and environmental risks. Smoke can aggravate respiratory conditions, expose you to carbon monoxide, and cause irritation. Fire produces greenhouse gases and may start wildfires. Minimize risks by burning clean, dry, natural materials. Stay upwind and monitor the fire closely.

Mulching leaves with a lawn mower is a great way to reap the benefits of leaf nutrients composting into your lawn without the leaves covering too much of your grass.
