Brandon and his crew are top notch! We’ve contracted with him for 2 separate projects and referred him to others in the area. He does excellent work at a fair price and communicates well.

  • JM Decks & Fences
The work that Antonio, Danny and their team performed was outstanding!! The work was completed on schedule and Antonio was very responsive in addressing any concerns. The team completed a Deck Rebuild (Widen steps, Added lattice and gravel underneath) and a Patio (Stone Pavers w/ a bench). The only issue that I had was that the team was supposed to stain my deck after the main job was complete and weather was better, however I didn't get a response back to complete that work after multiple attempts to follow up. I would still highly recommend Antonio's team

Ron was on time and very efficient. His communication about when he was coming and how long the work would take were accurate. I would hire him again if I need help with home repair or appliance assembly.

  • American Heritage Fence Company, Inc.
We got estimates from 3 fencing companies to install black aluminum fencing around our rear yard with 3 gates. American Heritage was competitive and offered a pet version - posts are close enough together that our pup is unable to squeeze his head through - we liked that American Heritage is a local family owned and operated business, used American made products and didn’t have a negative thing to say about the other fencing companies we talked to....the same can’t be said about the others. Fence came in and was installed exactly how and where we the fence! Took about 6 hrs to install 800+’ of fence..posts are in concrete, gates are self closing and lockable. The owner did the estimate, and the son did the layout for the crew to install. Buy American! Buy Local! Would recommend American Heritage to family and friends with no hesitation

It went very well. 3 men who were all very friendly, were late, but explained why. Worked 7 hrs solid, and did a great job building my fence. Left the job site clean. I would rehire if I needed them. Love sitting on my deck now and watching birds and squirrels eat from my backyard feeders within my new cedarwood enclosure

  • Index Fence INC
Fence was installed much sooner than their competition. Price was slightly higher than competition, but well worth the difference in speed, quality of materials, and solid installation. Lots of communication as we worked through specific nuances/details during the installation. Everyone was very professional - management, sales, and the installers. Overall the product and installation were excellent. Would hire them again

Highly Recommend! We are extremely pleased with our new fence (and so are our dogs!). We got a quick estimate after an initial survey of the property and were given several options to consider. Then when we changed our mind to extend the depth of the area by 12 feet, I got an updated price and he ordered the extra materials that day. The installation crew was professional and did a great job in making it look perfect. They wouldn't leave until we were 100% satisfied. Great company that I would definitely use again if needed

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
