    It went really well. I told them what I wanted and they took me to the appliances. They delivered it on a weekend as I wanted. They were very cordial and very nice. The set up went really well and I would definitely use them again.

    I was very pleased with Bud Matthews Service. This was the first time I used them. I would thoroughly recommend them. They were on time and did what they said they would do. They got the part and came back the following week to repair it. I remembered seeing their trucks in my neighborhood all the time, which is what first struck me to call. I called them because of Angie's List. I have not used anyone else so I have no comparison for their price

    I was very pleased with the quality of service. Jason looked at my refrigerator and methodically checked a couple of areas to determine the cause of the leak. When he diagnosed it, he said he wasn't sure if the part would be available b/c of the age of my refrigerator, but that he could use a plain hose to solve the problem. He did have to get a hose and came the the next day (or maybe 2 days later). For my dryer, I had purchased the new inside vent, and Jason installed it. He also attached the vent hose from the dryer to the wall more securely than I had been able to do. I was especially pleased that Jason took time to clean up the water behind my refrigerator (from the leak I had) and asked me for an old towel, b/c it would get dirty. He also vacuumed the refrigerator coils for me. He also researched part information for my microwave and gave me advice on cleaning the wall ductwork for my dryer. He was a little later (maybe 15 minutes) than planned, but he did call; I do not fault him for that, b/c it's hard to predict how long each service call will take. The only suggestion for improvement would be with the receptionist. She was not particularly forthcoming with information, especially when I called to confirm my appointment. I would recommend this company and use them again if needed

    We had 660sf of living space renovated. Our house was built in 1967 and we knew there would be issues because of it's age. We had walls removed, a new kitchen installed, new floor tile and hardwood floors refinished. We first met with Peter Thorn in January 2015. We worked through several renderings of the space we wanted to renovate and work began in March 2015. This is when we met Brice, the person responsible for coordinating and overseeing all the work and workers on our project. Brice did a great job of keeping the project moving and making sure all the contractors showed up to do what was necessary. If we had questions or issues with the work performed, Brice made the changes necessary or explained why the changes wouldn't work. We brought Pete Thorn in on one issue when we needed some guidance. Peter met with us the same day we called. He and Brice came up with a solution that looked great. They also were able to figure out how to put in one solid hidden support beam when the support wall between our kitchen and (former) living room was removed. It was great to have the area opened up not having to see any beams hanging from the ceiling. The cabinet company and appliance store they referred us to did a great job of helping us put together our perfect kitchen. The flooring and tile company they referred us to did a great job of installing our new tile floor for the kitchen and refinishing the original hardwood floors. Their electrician did a masterful job of re-wiring our 1967 breaker box and re-labeled all the breakers. After we decided to change the outlets and switches on the backsplash to another color, he came back a few times to make sure they looked like what we wanted. The carpenters and painters really helped make the area looked finished. They also sent a cleaner out the last day to make sure everything was cleaned properly before we took possession of the newly renovated area. That was great

    I purchased all of my appliances from them 18 years ago and was very satisfied. My refrigerator "died" last week so I went straight back to them. I really try to purchase locally. Well, they are as good as I remembered. They found a perfect replacement for me at a great price. The delivery personnel were wonderful. Why would anyone buy from a "big box" store when such a great local company is here in Durham

    They are very good. I don't know where they are out of, but its an online company and they are very good. The price wasn't bad. They were beating the other provider's who sell them. They were easy to deal with, no problem there. I am recommending them to you. I think everything. The ease of dealing, if you know what you want. You can go on there and get a price, and they will beat most everybody. The only issue is you won't get it tomorrow. Its not like you walk into the other stores, and roll it out the door then. Unless the sucker failed, you don't care. Its easy to deal with. The prices are than competitive. After you get a certain point your shipping is free, and you don't pay State sales taxes. That makes them more competitive. I got the microwave in about a week
