Inspectioneering, LLC is a Home Inspection company serving the greater Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. All inspections are performed by a nationally Certified ASHI Inspector. Our Inspector is a graduate of the American Society of Home Inspectors School at Cincinnati State Technical Community College for Home Inspection. He has completed an apprenticeship under a licensed Structural Engineer and has years of hands-on experience in all phases of the construction field, as well as performing home inspections. Also having been Owner/proprietor of a construction company, gives our inspector an advantage over most home inspection companies as far as knowing exactly what the client expects and actual construction experience. Buying a new home is probably the biggest investment you'll ever make and it is a decision that will affect you for years to come. The process can be extremely stressful and confusing. And of course, there is always considerable risk involved when making such a large purchase decision. A professional inspection will significantly reduce your risk and help make the entire home buying process easier and less stressful. We truly enjoy assisting our clients in this process as customer service is our highest priority. Our inspection report is a computerized, reader friendly document which includes pictures taken at the property site as well as illustrations that help our clients to understand the condition of the property. In most cases, our clients are able to view the report at the end of the inspection or on the next day at the latest. We strongly encourage all of our clients to accompany us during the inspection. You should feel free to ask the inspector any questions you may have during the inspection process. The inspector will point out deficiencies within the property and explain the cause of the concern. The inspector will also highlight the positive aspects of the property. Plus, we will explain what routine maintenance is needed to keep the house in top working condition. Along with the information provided during the inspection, as well as a comprehensive report, not only will you be armed with the confidence to make an educated decision on the purchase of the property but how to maintain the systems that encompass your future property. Our inspector enjoys his profession and his thoroughness shows it. We promise you will have a pleasing experience throughout the whole home inspection process and look forward to working for you.

"I had an outstanding experience working with Rob. He was incredibly prompt, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process. The inspection was extremely thorough, giving me real peace of mind. I would and can confidently recommend Rob to my closest friends and family—he’s a thousand times over the person you want to ensure your home or the home you are thinking of purchasing is safe and sound."

"I stopped in at Selway and purchased at bottle of Martins Viper RTU. I spoke with the lady and told her I had a cat that had got out and must have carried in a flea. I had used something from them years ago and it worked. They sold this to me and I went home and sprayed the whole main level of my home. I then looked at the manufacturer specs and found it to say Do Not Spray in areas inhabited by cats. The next business day I called Selway and spoke with Diane. She said she was not the one who sold it to me. I could let my cat in the areas I sprayed if I was going to be there to watch him. Are you serious. When I first called she said she would refund my money. That was not the case when she called me back. She said neither her nor her vendor even knew that was on the label."

Lawn Sense offers traditional and organic-based lawn care programs throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Locally owned and operated since 1997, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service.

"So far not good. Very poor communication. I think my mistake was paying them in advance. They have NO urgency to help me since they already got their money. Maybe would have been better to pay as you go, then at least they would only receive payment when they visit. Was told two weeks ago they would be stopping out, and nothing. Last time I had to request a full refund, and surprise, they came out the next day."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

In Pittsburgh, pest control offers immediate benefits like reducing pest-related allergens and preventing infestations that can disrupt daily life. Over time, consistent pest management helps safeguard your home’s foundation and wiring from damage caused by rodents or termites. Additionally, regular treatments can minimize the risk of recurring infestations, support a healthier indoor environment, and help maintain your property’s market value in Pittsburgh’s housing market.

Helpful?

When hiring pest control pros in Pittsburgh, prioritize companies with proven experience handling local pests such as termites, carpenter ants, and stink bugs. Ask about their use of integrated pest management strategies, and ensure they provide clear, written treatment plans tailored to Pittsburgh’s climate. Verify that they carry proper insurance and offer service guarantees. Request references from Pittsburgh homeowners to confirm reliability and effectiveness.

Helpful?

In Pittsburgh, you’ll find general pest control companies, termite specialists, wildlife removal experts, bed bug exterminators, and eco-friendly pest control providers. Some contractors focus on household pests like ants and cockroaches, while others specialize in wildlife such as bats or raccoons. There are also services offering green, pet-safe solutions and commercial pest management for local businesses, ensuring options for every property type.

Helpful?

Completing pest control in Pittsburgh can significantly boost your home’s resale appeal by demonstrating proactive maintenance and protecting against hidden damage from pests like termites or carpenter ants. Buyers in Pittsburgh often look for homes with a history of regular pest inspections and treatments, as this reduces concerns about structural issues. Maintaining detailed pest control records can set your property apart and help streamline the selling process.

Helpful?

Pittsburgh’s humid summers and cold winters create conditions that attract pests such as ants, cockroaches, and rodents. Seasonal temperature swings often drive pests indoors, especially during heavy rainfall or freezing weather. These patterns require pest control strategies in Pittsburgh to be adjusted seasonally, with increased focus on moisture control, sealing entry points, and regular monitoring to keep homes protected year-round.
