- Aable Appliance RepairIT WENT VERY WELl ! Called AAble Appliance and scheduled an appointment for installation of a control panel, which I had already purchased for about $165.00. (AAble Appliance scheduled an appointment in two working days and adhered to that schedule on time as promised), for my Whirlpool Cabrio washer . With Angie's List deal of $49.00 for $100.00 worth of service cost the total cost of this project equaled $ 239.00. HEY, this was far less than what I researched on Google. Pricing was from $600 to $700 for this control panel along plus a service call of $120.00 to 175.00. That is a whooping savings of well over $500.00. As a foot note, everybody that has purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer & Dryer since about 2002 has had problems with this control panel failing. The reviews and comments on Google about the Cabrio, were horrendous. Whirlpool would not issue a recall on these units and finally discontinued this model around 2013. I had purchased mine in January 2008 and didn't even try to contact Whirlpool about this manufacturer's defect because there has to be at least 1,000 bad reviews, negative comments and lack of support reported on Google, all saying of their bad experience with this washer and Wirlpool's failure to honor the Warranty of a Manufacturer Defect. Also, when I purchased my Whirpool Cabrio it's cost was $899.00, so the repair to this washer would have been a staggering 77% of purchase price. THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST ! ! ! ! ! Sorry, I was supposed to only review AAble Appliance performance, but this whole sequence of events has all muddled together
- Aable Appliance RepairThey were able to get someone out the next day. The guy diagnosed the problem quickly (heating element needed to be replaced), quoted the price (the $49 service call price was applied to the cost of the repair), and replaced the part. The dryer also had a super annoying rattle, so the guy dug out all of the coins and bobby pins the previous owners managed to get stuck in the drum for me while he had the cover off. He didn't have to do that, but because he did, I will definitely give this company my business next time I need an appliance repair
- Lowe's Home Improvement LouisvilleOur dishwasher was broken for two years. We checked with couple of plumbers for the dishwasher and Lowe’s was actually the cheapest. So we went with them and the project went fabulous.
- CHENOWETH APPLIANCESThe pricing on the appliances was the cheapest I found. They even beat out Lowe's and Home Depot for the drop in stove. I chose a GE product and some Whirlpool products. I think they carry several other brands as well. The items had to be ordered, but they came in within a week and the install was a couple of days later. I had a problem within the first day or two with the dishwasher, but the company replaced it with a brand new unit for no charge. I found the owner to be very honest and dependable. I was definitely impressed with the company as a whole

The door hinges were put on improperly when they brought the machines out, but they sent someone out to put them on correctly and it still wasn't on right, then a third person came out and put it on right. They kept sending people until they solved the problem. The delivery men didn't know how to install them but I don't think that's a problem

"They did a great job. They were here for 3 1/2 hours and they only charged $129. That was exactly what they told us over the phone. They don't charge any more or any less. It was a flat rate price, which I liked. He stayed until he figured out what was going on and corrected the problem. The computer is working great now. He was an hour early for the appointment. "They actually had a pet carpet that my dogs nails won't get caught in and it is very soft. They came out and measured and got me an estimate within 2 days. After getting the estimate the installer was supposed to call to set up an install date and time. I didn't hear from him in the 2 days she told me to wait so I called lowes in the 3rd day and couldn't get ahold of anyone. Called back the next day and spoke with the manager over the sales/installs and she was very apologetic and explained what was going on with the installer-he did call me that afternoon and they came the next day to install. They were very fast and efficient. They were here maybe for an hour doing the steps and living room. They cleaned up everything afterwards also. They did a great job and I love my new carpet-so do the dogs!
