We just built a brand new home and the builder put in the cheapest 24" deep sump pump possible. We live in an area known for basement flooding so I did my research - had several companies come in - and settled on Connecticut Basement Systems. But my LORD - expensive. But now I know why. Their crew of 3 showed up and laid down plastic mat from our front door all the way down to the basement (at least 200'). It was over kill - but then I saw why. They had to dig a 36" deep pit and a wider hole - and brought up all the mess in buckets. NOT A SINGLE DROP ON THE BASEMENT FLOOR OR ONE THE WAY UP THE STAIRS. In fact - if you didn't see the high tech 3 pump sump pump they installed - you would have never known they were there. EVERYONE was super nice and answered all my many questions. I just spent a year in **** building a new home - and this was the best experience I've had with a contractor in 10 years. Pay the bucks - great product - great installation - great service

"Very quickly. Technician was done in less than 20 minutes. Friendly and professional. $240 for that job strikes me as way too high. I know the prices come from a standard book, but really, $240?? When your toilet is backed up, you're usually not in a position to shop around for best price (and availability). I may have to find a 2nd plumber to do the "small stuff", and use Advance for bigger jobs.

"I spoke to several companies. Bill was one of the few who assessed my entire situation with water issues and gave me advice on solutions. His plan for the french drain, where to locate pumps, materials used, etc. made sense. Bill set his team up on the agreed upon date and there was good communication between Bill and his team during the job. Bill was also easy to reach to answer my questions during the job. "Tony did a great job with the work that he did for us. My big concern was a leak in my well pump that was leaking into my basement. I knew exactly where the leak was, but fixing it myself was daunting. If I messed it up, I figured we'd have either no running water for the house or a flooded basement or both. Tony came out and fixed it so that it's now better and stronger than it ever was before. He's really given me peace of mind. He also installed a faucet in our guest bathroom sink. The installation looks and works great. Plus I thought his price was pretty reasonable. We'll definitely be working with Tony again.
