In the purchase reviewed above, I went back to Wardway for some parts, to partially refurbish--the heating grids in the firebox, and the burners. They walked me through the install. SO far, it has worked just fine ever since. They also re-paint grills, and I'm thinking of having that done. They re-fill grill gas tanks, which is convenient if you are in Green Township, Cheviot or Westwood. Ducane merged into Weber, and now Wardway sells and services Weber, I think, and also sold the Green Egg style grills when I last visited. They have a helpful, small business atmosphere. Unless they are two deep at the counter, you will not stand around waiting to be helped. Finally, they have a service station which sells specialty fuels like racing gas, and also 91 octane pure gasoline for street driven cars. I tried the 91 octane pure gas in my car, which specifies premium fuel only. I did not notice any difference

I was kind of surprised they agreed to come pick it up, since my house is a good 40 minutes or so away from them. They cleaned it thoroughly and replaced a part that was causing parts of the grill to run pretty hot. They had estimated it would take a week, but it took them only a couple days to bring it back. I used the grill yesterday and it worked great. They were very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend them to others

THEN ON THE AFTERNOON OF 7/7 I NOTICED AN IGNITOR SITTING ON A TABLE ON THE DECK. WARDWAY HAD COME AND FIXED GRILL WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW THEY WERE COMING. NOW THIS ISN'T A REAL PROBLEM--THE GRILL IS OUTSIDE AFTERALL--BUT IF I HAD KNOWN THEY WERE HERE, I COULD HAVE GIVEN THEM A CHECK. WE FOUND THE BILL THE NEXT DAY IN THE MAILBOX. MY ONLY COMPLAINT: WHY DIDN'T THEY RING DOORBELL TO LET ME KNOW THEY WERE HERE? I WOULD SCORE THEM HIGHER IN PUNCTUALITY IF THEY HAD RUNG THE DOORBELL! I CAN'T COMMENT ON PROFESSIONALISM BECAUSE I NEVER SAW A WORKMAN
- Ace Appliance RepairThe first trip Larry stated the parts we needed and an approximate cost. He then started to work on the grill. 2 hours later he said he didn't have all the parts and needed to come back. He returned the next day with 2 heat distributors and put them on. I still don't know if they are official Viking parts. Then he "discovered" that all the connecting wires to the starter knobs needed to be replaced. The thing is every time I looked out, he didn't really seem to be doing much. He finished the 2nd trip, and left. 2 days later we went to use the grill. It didn't work! I immediately started calling the original phone number and just got the answering machine over and over again. I did leave messages but never received a response. This past weekend lucky for me, my father was in town and was able to repair the entire grill, including the rotisserie, in about 3 hours, with a $30 parts kit from Home Depot. I attempted to call again today and the phone number has been disconnected. This was the only chore that I have not used Angie's list. It has been a very expensive mistake

"The moving of the ping pong table and putting it together went very well - they did a great job! Once they were complete, they took the time without me asking to walk me through how to put the table up and folded together for storage or so I could play against myself. Before all the work happened, I had to reschedule with Doug a couple times and he was very understanding each time. He was very prompt and would respond immediately by text/phone/email each time I had to contact him. I also found out they provide many other services which I will be using from him - such as sealing driveways and putting epoxy down in garages. I would highly recommend Doug and his team!
