"Very prompt and gave detailed information about work that was going to be performed. A salesman was let go so I had to make several calls before I found his replacement to get the second part of my job completed. They left a pretty big mess at my home as well as denting my water heater. They did a good job but I think someone should follow up to make sure the customer is satisfied and all of the work was performed correctly.show more

"This project was completed Summer of 2020 after the worst flooding our basement had ever seen. Thankfully, we haven't had the chance to test the new pit and drain tile until today, so I wanted to finally leave a review! I could not be happier! I deducted a star only because the crew who completed the work left our basement an absolute mess after the work was done. "Let me start by saying I contacted 13 builders all recommended on Angie's List. Some were not available and all (but 1) were very professional and polite. Mr LaPelusa was very polite and professional. He was very honest in his assessment of our project. His bid was among the highest we received ( by more than $100k). He knew it was a lot and understood when we respectfully declined. The only oddity about this builder was that they wanted us to purchase ALL the material upfront so they could stay on time. No one else asked for this and we were a little put off by it. I understand why they wanted it but no other builder did and no construction loan would have agreed to those terms either.show more

"We hired Jack some time ago for some big jobs and are having issues now because of shoddy work done at the time. First, both bathrooms’ ceilings were painted with flat paint. Over time, the moisture caused the paint to flake and mold to form. A semi- gloss should have been used, which I would have expected a professional to know. We had them install a jacuzzi tub. The plumber mixed the hot and cold lines. We had to shut the water to the jacuzzi off to be able to get hot water in the shower. We will be selling soon and this will not be a cheap fix. The upper cabinets they installed in the kitchen are coming off of the ceiling. The rest of the work was okay, but not happy about having unprofessional with done after we paid so much.show more
