What a frustrating experience. We confirmed 3 movers for 3 hours (from 3-6pm) for a labor-only move within our building. We wanted that package because we were moving from one condo to another, plus a storage unit (also within the building). At noon, one of the movers texted us to confirm. An hour later, he texted to cancel because of a personal issue that meant he wouldn't have transportation. We called the main number and spoke with Mark, who said we'd have to reschedule. It was only upon insisting that it had to be that day because of our nonrefundable moving fee already paid to the condo association that they managed to find a way to come as scheduled. However, only 2 movers showed up, with the clear expectation that they would be here 2 hours. The positive - they worked very hard and moved the entire condo in that time. They were rougher than I liked with some of our things - a few dings and mishandlings occurred, scratches to hardwood floors, etc. At the end of 2 hours, they said they were finished and off they went. Our storage unit did not get done. After they left, we spent an hour looking for the dolly we had rented and said they could use. We found it out on the sidewalk outside the building. No reason for it to be there - it was a 100% inside move. If we had a $10 refund for every time Mark texted the word "sorry" - for the misplaced dolly, for the cancellation/transportation issue, for his mistake in scheduling the wrong number of guys/hours, we would've only owed about $40. As it was, he called the next day to collect payment, didn't ask how things went or make any reference to the situation. Just "I need your credit card number." Given all the positive reviews here and on other sites, we were very disappointed.
