the owner PJ was committed to repairing the problem even though I found out no one wants to repair an LG! There were multiple issues (as I knew from LG's troubleshooting via phone and web) and he came out to solve each one, and didn't charge me until we knew it was running well (with a refrigerator you have to be sure the temperature is holding so it's hard to say initially if the job is done.) He was very helpful coordinating with me as I was out of town and had to have a neighbor meet him at the house twice. I was dreading the final repair bill but ultimately the repair was very reasonable for my $3000 fridge that was 4 months out of extended warranty. He also did a small repair on my dishwasher gratis.

Our refrigerator broke about 10PM on a Wednesday evening. First thing Thursday morning, my husband went on Angie's list to find someone who could help us quickly. Mr. Singh said he could be there in 45 minutes compared to the five to eight hour wait time other appliance repair companies quoted us. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem with the refrigerator quickly, and even had the needed part on his truck. He saved us! We will definitely call again when needed.

Had strange noises, very loud, and water/ice not working. Repair man came out, right on time, and tried to troubleshoot the issue. It took several tries to get things right, and while I questioned whether or not he (and another helper) fully knew exactly what the issue(s) were, they have been very conscientious to make sure that all is okay before expecting payment. So I'd use them again, knowing that even if they might not be the fastest or know immediately what the needed fix is, they will work until everything is done right and we're satisfied.

Our 4.5 year old LG french door refrigerator suddenly stopped working during the morning with no warning. My first call for service was to Expert Appliance Services based on Angie List "A" recommendations. Mr Pankaj Pant returned my call within fifteen minutes and he arrived at our house an hour later. He diagnosed the problem as a bad motherboard and luckily had a new one available on his truck. He replaced the bad part and the refrigerator was up and running within thirty minutes. We had a lot of fresh and frozen food stored in this fridge which would have spoiled had not Mr Pant been so prompt. Speed and efficiency when needed is priceless. I consider his service an A+ and highly recommend him.

We found our refrigerator not working after coming home from a trip. I found Expert Appliance Services, read their most recent reviews, and called. It was about 10:30AM, the gentleman who answered said he could be out between 1:00-3:00PM. He showed up right before 3:00 PM as discussed. Within a few minutes, he diagnosed the problem. He than checked to see if he had a replacement part. I was informed it would have to be ordered. He came up with a short term fix for the blown fuse while I would wait for the control board. Due to the weekend and the holiday, I would have to wait a few days for the part. He called me Friday and said the part was in and if I was available he could come out. I was away, but said I could come back in 1 hour. When I returned he was waiting in my driveway. The control board installation would take about 15 minutes. My fridge was now working. A job well down.

My refrigerator was not getting any power. The technician, Lew, came out the same day I called. He told me he could see no "blown" fuses and thought that the circuit board needed to be replaced. He gave me an education about my LG refrigerator brand vs. U.S. manufactured brands. He was knowledgeable, personable, and enlisted my confidence. He assured me that if the new part did not solve the problem, he would not charge me for it. He ordered the part, told me it would be 3 to 5 business days before they expected the part to be delivered. In 5 business days I received a call that the part was in, and the same technician returned, installed the part in less than 1/2 an hour, (it solved the power problem), and the price was exactly what he told me it would be. Very happy with the service and this company.

Terrible. On 20 April, Lowes arranged for A&E to repair my LG refrigerator, which was not cooling, just over 1 year old and covered on a 5 year protection plan from Lowes. A&E had their initial service call 24 April. A&E assessed that 4 parts, including the compressor, required replacement, and ordered the parts. They set up a return appointment for 4 May. On 4 May they installed the parts, told us it was working, and would be cool in 24 hours. 5 May it was 70 degrees inside - STRIKE 1. I called A&E, and they said they cannot help me, I need to contact Lowes - STRIKE 2. I called Lowes, who after my griping about the amount of time without a working fridge arranged for an LG technician to come on 8 May. The LG technician informed us that A&E installed the parts incorrectly, and spread oil through the system, and that the same parts need to be replaced again - STRIKE 3. One part was backordered, and estimated to be delivered 10 May. On May 11th, we learned the backordered part was further delayed until 17 May. At this point, Lowes agreed to REFUND my entire purchase price. We purchased a new refrigerator (not LG) and are happy with it.

Initially alright, but now not good. The refrigerator portion was freezing fruit, juices, milk, etc. Also, the ice maker no longer worked. Khalid diagnosed the problem as the compressor. He said this was a major problem with LG refrigerators. Khalid convinced me that a new compressor would solve the problem. Against the wise advice of my brother who recommended I just purchase a new refrigerator, I paid Khalid $724 for the new compressor and labor. I am still having the same problem, frozen fruit, milk, etc., and the ice maker still does not work. Khalid has come back twice post installing the new compressor, but he has been unable to fix the overarching problem nor the ice maker. Khalid indicated that I may need a new ice maker. He was supposedly going to get a diagnosis, from LG about the ice maker, but he never got back in touch with me. Khalid is not replying to my texts nor returning phone calls. I don't know what has happened. Up until this point he had been professional. The warranty for the labor is only 90 days, I don't know about the compressor, which will expire mid September. I would hope that he would contact me to rectify this matter.

From start to finish this was a very professional effort. We set up an appointment with a 2 hour range. They called 30 minutes ahead of time on the appointment day. Once they diagnosed the problem, they explained the issue to me and gave me an estimate. Since the part was a special order, the called me the next day with an estimate of how long it would takeo get the part. They came out again and due to the fact that the manufacturer had sent them the wrong part, they had to come back out a 3rd time. With 3 trips an only a $ 195 fee,including parts, I'm sure they didn't make much money on this repair. Despite this they were very pleasant and took care of the problem as quickly as possible. I will defintely use Expert Appliance for future appliance repairs and would highly recommend them.

Call Sears after trying to get an LG authorized repair person. The one LG rep I found wanted $150 just to show up. Call Sears they want $99 just to show up. Sears Repairman came, found that plastic ice dispenser button assembly (flapper plate that you push to get ice) was broken. Options were whole new ice/water dispenser $479.00 or he could order just the flapper plate (a $14 part) which cost $134 for the part and service call. He also tried to sell me an appliance service warranty for all kitchen appliances for $49/month. I just bought the part and will install it myself! So in the long run Sears was the least expensive but none are inexpensive. Would I hire again, my advice is shop around. Check Angie’s List for top rated. Look for a You Tube video to see if you can DIY first, if not be prepared to pay someone to fix it.

I called a number of appliance repair places and Peaco was the only one who could come out that day. They let me pick a two hour window, and came very early in that window. I was very impressed that the repairman called me on his way to let me know he was coming, and he did a great job fixing the refrigerator in a prompt fashion. It was a bit expensive, but better than replacing the appliance completely! I would definitely use them again. Please tell them that you are an Angie's List customer, they will honor the discount.
