I have a Maytag refrigerator that was periodically leaking from the bottom. I reached out to Bill through AL and scheduled for him to come out. He diagnosed the problem and told us that i) a part needed to be replaced and ii) since the part was defective, the repair should be covered by warranty through Maytag - he told us he would fix it, but that we should check with Maytag first. We called Maytag and dealt with a serious run around from them. They did eventually get out and replace the part (had to come twice since they didn't have the part on the truck), but they failed to complete the repair by clogging the drain. Bill graciously came out the next day and fixed what Maytag could not. Could not be happier with the customer service, knowledge, and approach from Bill.

OUTSTANDING - Mr. Pius is the 36 year Owner of Peaco Appliance Service, and he is the principal technician. Mr. Pius did an EXCELLENT JOB from start to finish. He began by accurately diagnosing my problem over the phone. He arrived promptly within 30 minutes of my call, and then he expertly replaced the water pump on my 20 year old Maytag washing machine. He even reloaded my laundry after making the repair. I could not be happier at the prompt, courteous, EXCELLENT service and the effective repair that Mr. Pius so efficiently and knowledgeably provided. My four year old Maytag dishwasher was starting to act a little crazy. I didn't want to deal with Maytag and the people who sold me the dishwasher were too far away. So I checked Angie's List and this guy had lots of good reviews and he was close by. I told him my problem over the phone and he pretty much figured out what was wrong. He asked for the model number so he could look up the part and told me he would call back. He called back in about a half hour, told me the cost of the part, the cost of labor and that he could come out and do the repair the next day and he gave me a two hour window that he could make it out. He came out during the early part of the two hour window, had the part that was needed and made the repair. He even provided some advice about another appliance that was giving me trouble (a washer) and re-secured an access panel on the dishwasher that had been loose for years. I highly recommend this guy. He's good at what he does and he's a straight shooter.

Technician arrirved during estimated window and was polite . Before even looking at dryer said would not be repairing today because he had no parts on truck. Spent more time looking at his computer than on at my dryer. Finally got codes and then said could t get part. Still had to pay $120 service call fee

After Corey had diagnosed the problem back in Dec, we were left with a decision...a new washer or a very expensive repair. After looking I was very disappointed with the washers on the market. In the meantime, our frig had a problem, and when Corey came to take care of it, he explained that the company had gotten a new tool and was doing a trial fix on a washer with a similar problem. It would be a cheaper repair, than first suggested. The repair was a success...So, Corey did the repair on my washer also...and now,I am doing my wash without sounding like It is going to the moon.

In short, it was perfect. I had researched the issue we were having with our dishwasher and knew that it was a 'known' problem with this model. Called to request an estimate, which Bonnie was able to provide down to the penny after some part research. The appointment scheduling was easy and reasonable, although they do have 'windows' which I wish were a little narrower or more flexible - but that's standard for the industry. I ended up having to postpone the appointment due to a work emergency, and that was effortless. As promised, the technician called 10-15 minutes before he arrived. He was friendly, professional, and efficient. Well spoken and clean cut too, things that aren't always a given. Replaced the heating element and advised that sometimes the control board gets affected too, so I should watch out for any further problems. He did all the work without leaking water all over the place which I half-expected, and cleaned up what did drip out from the pipes. He was done in an hour or so, and charged the exact quoted price. I frankly can't ask for or expect any better service. 3 thumbs up.

I called Mike's on a Saturday morning - Paul answered and got the information - he was in the neighborhood finishing another job and arranged to come to my house within 30 minutes. We called them early in the morning on the Saturday of a holiday weekend, and they responded early in the afternoon and fixed the problem (and also put on a new metal exhaust hose and clamps). Sammy, the serviceman, thoroughly vacuumed out the dryer and vents and checked the operation of all parts. When done he cleaned up after himself well. The dryer has been running fine since then!

Contacted the provider and got a recording. Left a message and heard back within a half hour. Described the problem and he made a suggestion as to what the problem might be that I could take care of myself. It was not the problem so I scheduled a service call the next day and was given a 1 hour window. Adrian showed up within the hour, examined the dryer, said what was wrong and got a part from his truck. That fixed the problem. Very polite and explained what the problem was as well as what he was doing to fix it. Would use in the future.

The job went well, even if they did not repair the washer. I contacted the repair company, and they responded in a very timely manner. We scheduled a date and time for the service man to arrive, and he arrived on the scheduled date, and within the time window for the appointment. He began repairing the machine, and had it operating. Once we were satisfied with the repairs, he left. A couple of days later, I used the washer for the first time since he began repairs. The machine washed the clothes, but when it attempted to go into rinse mode, it stopped. You could hear the relays attempting to start the spin cycle, but the motor would not engage the washer drum. I called the company back, and explained the issue. The scheduler was very nice, and did her best to reschedule the next appointment. Again, the service man arrived on the day, and within the scheduled time, for the repairs. He did a more thorough check on the machine, and called a co-worker to help troubleshoot the problem. When they agreed it was an electrical assembly that was causing the problem, the service man left, and I was informed they had to order parts. Again, the service man was very professional, and took time to explain the new issue. The parts arrive, and again, the service man arrived on the scheduled date and time. He began the repairs, and discovered the supplier had sent him the wrong part. They were similar, and had the same part number, but the new part was not configured to work with the older machine. The service man left, and attempted to order an interface, which the new part would be compatible with the old machine. However, when the service man called me back, he explained the new part would be prohibitively expensive, and it would be best to buy a new machine. I agreed with his assessment, and bought a new machine in the next two days. All the personnel I dealt with were very professional and friendly, and treated me like a human, and not just another service call. I am very happy with the service they provided. Through no fault of their own, they could not repair the machine within a reasonable price. I felt they were honest in assessing the situation, and happy they recommended I buy a new machine, instead of goading me into spending more money with them on repairs. I will definitely call them again, should I need help with an appliance. The $135 special was well worth it. They did not charge me for subsequent visits, and did not charge me for parts, since this issue was with the one appliance. They definitely wanted a positive resolution to the problem.

Adrian is really great. He collected information about the problem with our washer and offer a potential diagnosis and cost, based upon his knowledge of the repair history of the model, before we agreed to have him out to repair the washer. That left it totally up to us, without pressure, whether we wanted to repair or replace the washer. We chose to repair it and he collected the model and serial number for us by email and ordered the parts for the repair he thought would be needed before coming out. When he arrived and looked at the machine, he suggested that there might be an additional problem with the machine and, again, offered us the potential cost of the second problem before dissembling the machine, leaving it totally up to us whether we wanted to cut our losses and replace the machine or have him repair it. It turned out that the second repair was not needed. He fished about twenty of my daughter's hairpins out of the drain of the washer and suggested she clean out her pockets in the future. He counseled us about the size of load that was appropriate for the washer. We definitely will call upon him again.

Things couldn't have gone more smoothly. The drum on my Maytag electric dryer stopped turning. This morning after checking Angie's List and Consumer Checkbook I called L and M Appliance Service in Centreville, Virginia. The owner, Buddy, took my call a few minutes after 9:00 and by a few minutes after 11:00 his truck was at my door.. The dryer now works perfectly. Replacing the belt was not an easy job because there was little space in which to work. .While he was here Buddy even took the time to tell me how I can calibrate my electric oven myself. I would certainly use L and M Appliance Service again.
