Tuesday, one of my daughters noticed - then bagged- 3 extremely small black bugs crawling in the bed, where 2 different out of town guests had slept over the weekend. That night, we examined the bugs under a microscope and concluded that they were nymph bed bugs. After mentally rehearsing what I would say to whom, I went to Angie's List for an expert and read the reviews. Prior customers spoke so highly of Dave Pines, that I sent him an online message regarding our situation, and asked for help. Early the next morning, Dave called and agreed to squeeze us in between his appointments, so he could at least examine and determine if the bagged bugs were bed bugs. I could not leave work that day, so Dave came by the house; examined the bagged bugs left inside the front door; and by noon had determined that they were NOT bed bugs. He called me at work and explained the differences he'd noted in our bugs, versus bed bugs. He then forwarded his highly magnified photo of the bug to us and to an entomologist for possible insect identification. In conclusion, his assessment that it was NOT a bed bug was confirmed, and the true identity of our threesome remained a mystery. Dave was prompt, professional, kind, knowledgeable, calm and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend anyone to use his services, should you find yourself in that unenviable position. It could not have gone any better than it did. That night, we included Dave in our prayers for the gift of knowing that we had NO bed bugs. Thank you, Dave.
