Pierre was very responsive, professional, and prompt. Because of the cold weather we had to postpone the install several times and he called every time. Every time I called him he was available. Once we had warmer weather we set a date and he showed up and started the install. He had two helpers who stayed working when he left and they worked very hard to get the liner in without any wrinkles. This was great because the last installer had a hard time because I choose to have the liner installed so it gradually gets deeper in the middle. Pierre showed up to help at the end of the evening. They worked on my liner to almost 9:00 pm at night. It looks great!! No wrinkles and great service. Very hard working people. I would highly recommend them for an above ground liner install. The price would have been cheaper but I had not had my pool running the year before and there were a lot of roots to remove and they worked so hard to make it perfect. I provided my own liner for the job.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH - I DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO BE THERE FOR THE SERVICE - THEY LEFT AN INVOICE IN MY MAIL BOX. THIS WAS A POOL THAT CAME WITH A HOUSE WE RECENTLY PURCHASED. IT DID NOT HAVE A COVER. AFTER THE INITIAL CLOSING OF THE POOL, WE DECIDED TO PURCHASE A COVER. THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND INSTALLED IT. A VERY EASY EXPERIENCE.

C & D'S INSTALLERS

I had originally planned on having C & D's Installers replace the vinyl liner on my very old above ground pool. When they arrived, I was told by the installer that the pool had problems and was beyond repair. He also let me know that he wouldn't install the liner since he could not warranty the work. I appreciated C & D's honesty since they had already driven to my home, and were losing the opportunity to earn the income from the installation. I did get an estimate for the removal and haul away of the pool, and for installation of a new pool should I decide I wanted to replace the old one. I decided to just have the old pool removed for now, and scheduled them to come back. They were professional both times that I dealt with them and would definitely call them if I decide to install a new pool in the future.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH CL PITCHER. THEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. WE ALSO HAD TO RESCHEDULE AT THE LAST MINUTE AND THEY WERE VERY NICE ABOUT IT AND STILL PROMPT FOR THE RESCHEDULED TIME.

I was very happy with the salesman. He was very helpful and explained the pros and cons of the various pools to us. However, I was very displeased with the installation. They took three weeks to complete the job, they were sloppy and very uncommunicative. I have heard good things about their installation of inground pools, but I have spoken to others with above ground pools who had the same unpleasant experience as we did.

After Josh, the customer service rep, assured me that they serviced above ground pools, and would be happy to give me an estimate on replacing my liner that I already had purchased, they made me wait three weeks for an appointment, then called to cancel it, after I took the day off from work. They rescheduled for the following week. The day before the next appointment, they called to say I had to buy the liner from them, or else they wouldn't service it. Then they called and canceled, and rescheduled for a third time. For the third appointment, they showed up an hour early, and called to say they didn't service above ground pools. I've wasted two months with these people, springs here, and I have to start looking for a new company. I spoke to their manager, John Walsh, who admitted that they may have "a training issue".

We began renting a home in February of this year with an above ground pool that was not closed correctly last fall. Our landlord indicated that he would open the pool so that we could use the pool. As of June 29th, the pool had not been opened properly and cleaned. Having never cared for a pool, my husband and I began educating ourselves about pool maintenance and quickly realized we would need professional help. After calling several companies and not receiving return calls or being told that they did not service above ground pools, The Waterboys were located and called. They came out the next morning and started to work on the pool. When the Waterboys arrived, the water was very cloudy. You could not see more than a foot down into the water. The bottom of the pool was covered in leaf debris and silt. If you rubbed the bottom of the pool, clouds of brownish green sediment and old leaves would be rise and spread throughout the pool. The water was barely flowing through the pump. The Waterboys have paid three service calls to date: the first to open the pool, vaccuum the bottom, treat the water and make sure that the pump and filter were working correctly. The Waterboys also took the time to show me how to operate the equipment and how to take care of the pool and repeated the educational session with my husband on another visit. After the first visit, the water color was much improved and although we could see about four feet down, it was still very cloudy with leaf debris and sediment. They gave us realistic expectations about what it would take to clean the pool. In our case, there was a large amount of sediment and debris that was stirred up in the vacuuming process that has to settle for a day or two so that it can be vacuumed again. They have made two more service calls to vaccuum the sediment. We can now see the bottom of the pool! We can clearly see that there is still what I would consider, a modest amount of silt to vacuum and the Waterboys are scheduled for a fourth visit that will hopefully take care of this last bit of sediment.

The guys who came out did a good job. They did surprise me the first time they came out. It was the first time I had ever called someone for the job. They didn’t let me know ahead of time that I had to take all the leaves; I had to do a fair amount of work on my own before they would take care of it. I don’t know if that is standard. I had to reschedule and that put me late into the pool season. If they had told me ahead of time then I would have cleaned all that up. I have also taken water sample then. I spent a lot of money on chemicals and we never could get it right. Their price was comparable to everybody else. The people who came out were fine, but the people in the office were the ones that should have told me what I needed to do to get ready. They were here when they said they would be here. The people who came out to work did a fine job. I might be using them in the future because of the lack of people who would do above ground pools.
