"We hired Cody Smith, owner of Wolf Creek Construction to install high end Luxury Vinyl Plank throughout our entire house, total of 1300 square feet. The installation turned out perfect and we are so pleased with the work Cody performed. Cody is extremely knowledgeable, fast and efficient, polite, friendly and highly professional. This was a 3 day job, and each day Cody showed up on time, worked continuously, communicated his plan and answered all our questions. Cody has strong attention to detail and he delivered a high quality, finished product at a reasonable price. We would highly recommend Cody Smith and Wolf Creek Construction for any of your home construction or repair projects. You won’t be disappointed!!!"

"Tyler waterproofed and insulated my basement walls, framed and installed tongue and groove planks on my basement family room, bedroom and bathroom. The detail and fit and finish right down to custom made crown molding and access panels to water valves seamlessly built into the woodwork was top notch craftsmanship. He also installed a custom built walk-in shower and mosaic tile door that is beautiful. I canâ t say enough or recommend someone more enthusiastically than I do Tyler. He is there when he says heâ ll be there and the level of craftsmanship and professionalism is unsurpassed. The price is more than fair and I often felt as if I was underpaying him and asking him to add on any extra services (like unforeseen plumbing) to ensure he was paid adequately."

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.
A true professional and great person to work with.  The design was spot on and my wife and i were very impressed.  Thank you Jill.

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, but you should only put tile directly on drywall in smaller areas that don’t experience excess moisture. For example, a small kitchen tile backsplash could work, but installing tile directly on the drywall in a bathroom or other chronically damp area is not a good idea. Either way, a cement backer board is a far more reliable solution, as drywall is susceptible to moisture and can warp or cause your tiles to crack.

Glass tile is one of the easiest materials to maintain. It is both stain and water-resistant, making it easy to clean and incredibly durable. This also makes it resistant to mold and mildew. However, make sure it’s kept clean, otherwise, your grout might start to degrade. Glass is liable to scratch, so ensure you’re using non-abrasive materials and products, like soft sponges and wipes.

Common problems include cracks, loose tiles, and grout discoloration. Proper maintenance prevents many issues.

Flooring transition strips can be secured to the subfloor using glue, nails, or screws. For a more secure installation, especially in high-traffic areas, using screws or nails is recommended as it reduces the risk of slippage. However, if aesthetic appeal is a priority, glue provides a cleaner, more seamless finish without any visible holes or screw heads.

Yes. You can tile over tile if the old tile is in good shape, but this will also create a thicker floor. As a result, you may have to remove and readjust baseboards and other room trimmings and potentially even raise door heights to work with the higher floors. In most projects, it’s best to remove the old tile before installing a new tile floor.
