"We hired Cody Smith, owner of Wolf Creek Construction to install high end Luxury Vinyl Plank throughout our entire house, total of 1300 square feet. The installation turned out perfect and we are so pleased with the work Cody performed. Cody is extremely knowledgeable, fast and efficient, polite, friendly and highly professional. This was a 3 day job, and each day Cody showed up on time, worked continuously, communicated his plan and answered all our questions. Cody has strong attention to detail and he delivered a high quality, finished product at a reasonable price. We would highly recommend Cody Smith and Wolf Creek Construction for any of your home construction or repair projects. You won’t be disappointed!!!"

"Tyler waterproofed and insulated my basement walls, framed and installed tongue and groove planks on my basement family room, bedroom and bathroom. The detail and fit and finish right down to custom made crown molding and access panels to water valves seamlessly built into the woodwork was top notch craftsmanship. He also installed a custom built walk-in shower and mosaic tile door that is beautiful. I canâ t say enough or recommend someone more enthusiastically than I do Tyler. He is there when he says heâ ll be there and the level of craftsmanship and professionalism is unsurpassed. The price is more than fair and I often felt as if I was underpaying him and asking him to add on any extra services (like unforeseen plumbing) to ensure he was paid adequately."

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.
A true professional and great person to work with.  The design was spot on and my wife and i were very impressed.  Thank you Jill.

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

You can use sanded or unsanded grout for a shower pan, but sanded grout isn’t the best option for shower walls. For those areas, you’ll want to use unsanded grout, which works well on vertical surfaces and is less likely to slump than sanded grout. Alternatively, you can use epoxy grout for shower walls.

No, tiling over painted walls or wallpapered surfaces is generally not recommended. Textured surfaces and paints will affect the adhesive, possibly causing tiles to lift or fall off. Painted walls with a semi-gloss or high-gloss finish are particularly difficult for adding tiles. It’s wise to strip the paint first if you install the tiles to drywall, although it’s still best to opt for a cement backer board.

Per the International Code Council, walk-in shower floors should have a minimum slope of 1/4-inch per foot (or a 2% slope) towards the drain. The slope should be no steeper than 1/2-inch per foot (or a 4% slope). This helps safely direct water into the drain rather than all over your bathroom.

Tiling can be DIY with the right tools and skills, but challenges like ensuring evenness and appropriate adhesion often warrant professional handling.

For best results, you should remove the toilet in a bathroom before removing tile or installing new tile. If you don’t remove the toilet, it will be harder to fully waterproof the tile around the toilet, which could increase the risk of mold growth or plumbing leaks. If you have trouble removing the toilet, hire a plumber to help.
