"Tiger Tree Inc performed work on my parent’s sprinklers. During the work, one of the parts that was installed on the system was improperly installed and causing a severe leak. The company tried to charge me $250.00 to repair the part that they had improperly installed. Furthermore, they have no-called, no-showed on service calls. This company violates professional and ethical standards in their conduct."

Whether you choose to chisel and hammer, chainsaw, or burn your tree stump to hollow it out, always use protective goggles and thick gloves. Splinters are an inevitable risk. Having a power drill with a diameter of at least ⅜ inch also makes the job quicker and easier.

It’s possible, although a lot depends on the cause of damage and what steps you take. If the remaining parts of the maple tree are alive and not under attack by disease or pests, they can often be saved even if large portions of the maple tree have died. As it grows, cut it back 12 to 20 inches until it reaches its desired height. Never prune more than one-third of the new growth.

You can find pruning paints and sealants for trees, but you shouldn’t use them on a topped tree. Coatings like these often inhibit the tree’s healing process. An important exception is if there are dangerous fungi nearby that the tree is particularly vulnerable to, like oaks and oak wilt. Sealing cuts can help prevent fungi from taking root.
