"I had the pleasure and honor of working with Cathleen at Powder River heating and A/C on a client customer basis. While she works in the office vs the field, the impact she made on me as I was figuring out invoices etc was enough to make me stop and write her a review. I run multiple companies and understand the value of people like Cathleen being the interface between the field and the public. She is worth her weight in Bitcoin. Cathleen was kind and relatable but my favorite part was how resourceful she was. She went above and beyond to answer all my questions and even followed up with sending me hard copies in the mail with a nice hand written personal note. When calling in to pay an invoice people may not always be in the highest state when calling in, but after talking with Cathleen you can't not be. Anyways, I just had to say something. Thank you again for the laughs that day Cathleen! Sheri Hollenback"

Gas Leak Repair questions, answered by experts

This is a matter of personal preference, as each method has its own pros and cons. Oil furnaces are safer, but the smell can be off-putting to some consumers. Oil is also more expensive than gas. However, oil furnaces boast a higher BTU rate per hour, so a smaller amount of oil can heat a larger space when compared to a gas furnace.

Yes, flexible tubing and high-efficiency gas lines are options for new installations.

Some people don’t like the look of gas fireplaces since they don’t offer the classic charm or appeal of a wood-burning fire. Plus, gas fireplace installation is more expensive than other types of fireplace installations due to the added complexity of working with gas lines. There’s also a chance that gas could get into your home, which is a major health and safety risk.

The easiest way to empty a propane tank is to simply use it until no propane remains. If you’re short on time and need a faster solution, transfer the propane to another tank instead. Wear leather gloves to protect your hands, then connect the hoses from both propane tanks and seal them tightly. Turn the knob to open the supply tank valve on the full tank and let it run until the pressure pushes all the propane into the other tank. When all propane is transferred, remove the hose and seal each tank.

No, most homeowners don't have the skills and experience required to convert their electric stove to gas on their own. You must hire an electrician and a licensed gas plumber for the conversion. This job requires swapping out the existing 240-volt outlet for a 110-volt outlet and may also involve installing or extending an existing gas line.
