I had the pleasure and honor of working with Cathleen at Powder River heating and A/C on a client customer basis. While she works in the office vs the field, the impact she made on me as I was figuring out invoices etc was enough to make me stop and write her a review. I run multiple companies and understand the value of people like Cathleen being the interface between the field and the public. She is worth her weight in Bitcoin. Cathleen was kind and relatable but my favorite part was how resourceful she was. She went above and beyond to answer all my questions and even followed up with sending me hard copies in the mail with a nice hand written personal note. When calling in to pay an invoice people may not always be in the highest state when calling in, but after talking with Cathleen you can't not be. Anyways, I just had to say something. If I could choose a zero star, I would. Charges $1000 for work and found out they misdiagnosed the issue with our unit. Spoke to the managers and he was so disrespectful and very unprofessional. There are so many other heating and air companies out there that have way better customer service and will work with you into the issue is fixed and will stand behind their work

The plumber called before arriving, was prompt and very professional. He came back the next day to clean out any accumulated sediment and particles after it was operating for awhile. He showed me an easy process for doing it myself, or offered to come back again. I was totally impressed with the service and the price. I've used Powder River Heating before, and this is exactly why I'd use them again.

My A/C stopped on a cloudless, 90 degree Sunday afternoon.  First thing Monday morning, with another 90 degree day in the forecast, I was on the phone to PRHVAC.  The phone rang off the hook, eventually it was answered, I got sent to service.  They took my info, and said the tech would call me when he could come over.  No promise of when.  Then 30 minutes later, the tech called, asked if I was home and said he was on the way.  Long story short, less than 2 hours later, the malfunctioning part was replaced, and my system was back on-line.

After an Angie's List recommendation, I contacted Powder River HVAC via their website for quotes to address two different issues. Issue one was the build out of a radiant heating system in the garage floor of a home that my son had built. Issue two was the repair/replace of some antiquated duct work in an old condo that was owned by my other son. Brad from PRHVAC responded to my email the same day, made an appointment, showed up on time and delivered a written quote, all as promised. The boys need to get their money together before they can proceed with the work, but I have every expectation that PRHVAC will get the job done right, and on time.

They have done good work. However, I have had a pretty negative experience with this company. I have been using them for some time.

They were prompt and did a job that it working and everything is set. They are prompt when you call them and send a serviceman out who do a courteous job. Their prices are reasonable than anybody else as it wasn't that bad.
